The food here was amazing! I'm not vegan but eat it often at home with my parents. I love to try new things and the flavors and ingredients used at Shizen were great. The eggplant nigiri and the special roll Missing Piece were my favorites. There was a bit of a wait when we arrived but we didn't mind. We got sat at the bar and the service was on point. I'd like to come back to try all the other dishes!

Had my eyes on this one for a really long time! We were lucky enough to get a bar- table as walk-in on a busy Saturday night⦠They screwed up the most loved and basic dish of any pan-asian/sushi place - garlic edamame. There was something extremely tart/soir in all of their dishes that was overpowering all other flavours. Maybe to compensate for the rich umami flavour of actual sushi, they aded some vinegar/chemically sour base to all dishes and that was a buzz kill. Ordered 3 rolls and just liked one out of those. Appreciate the effort of using tomato skin as salmon substitute but raw tomato on a sushi tastes bad!! Trust me. The eggplant used in the sushi topping was chewy like a gummy bear. Their tempura sushi was decent called Body and Soul. I usually like veg sushi rolls⦠Yakisoba had that vinegar base to it again, unappetising. Would not recommend this place even if u r a real sushi lover(even if its veg)

One of the very few places serving vegan / veg sushi. It is a Michelin star restaurant so the pressure was on me to like every single item from the menu but despite trying my best I could not do it. I think Sushi is a very personal preference kind of dish when it comes to the test of it. Overall experience is fantastic and the presentation of every dish is fabulous. I must say that they have great drink menu offering different kind of sake and soju options. It is a must visit place for vegetarian and vegan lovers.

Absolutely incredible dining experience! Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. The dumplings were perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy inside, and the edamame had just the right balance of seasoning. The sushi was fresh, creative, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The ramen was rich and comforting, and the dessert was the perfect sweet finishβlight, fresh, and not overly heavy. You can really tell thereβs attention to detail in every plate. Great ambiance and overall vibe too. Definitely a place Iβll keep coming back to. Highly recommend!
