Medical services in California range from neighborhood family practices to major hospital systems. Ask whether the provider accepts your plan (Medicare, Medicaid or a private insurer), what the copay is and whether a referral is required. Pharmacies can advise on common ailments and many medicines are available over the counter, but a proper diagnosis from a doctor is the safer route for anything that lasts more than a few days.

My experience communicating with L. was disappointing. During our interactions, I felt unwelcome, and several responses were very brief and came across as unprofessional, which gave me the impression that my questions were an inconvenience. The tone and wording of the responses with the word YEB not even the word itself about how he says I was informed that there are currently no in-person or weekend appointments available, and that only one therapist is accepting new patients online. I also requested an email with a list of available therapists, but I never received it.

Finally found my therapist, Michaele M. It was an easy process with the intake team and I got matched therapist who’s been great. I've noticed a lot of personal growth so far after attending sessions with her, I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Unfortunately, The therapist I had through this company didn’t work out at all. Also, we could never get Zoom to work properly Such a waste of time

I specifically asked for a therapist with a background in Neurodivergence and people on the Spectrum. The one I got had basically no experience with those areas. Thanks for nothing. Thanks for not listening. This was NOT a good introduction to your organization and I now have little faith that you all are going to take care of me. Notice how they only respond to positive reviews here? They DON'T CARE when they've done wrong! They won't accept responsibility for their actions! Edit: Talked to the intake manager who didn't answer any of my questions and eventually hung up on me because she couldn't answer my questions

They're only getting a star because I got a good therapist. But billing is a shit show, THEY WILL OVERCHARGE YOU SILENTLY, and I'm switching because of it. You can't see your statements online. You're forced to pay before a session (even when the charge is incorrect and hasn't gone through insurance yet.) You have to call in order to get a statement BY MAIL in an online world. They've overcharged me for MONTHS after I met my deductible and I had to call Silverlake's general billing number to tell them. I had spoken to my insurance before calling Silverlake to confirm what I should have been paying. Silverlake didn't even put up a fight. They just said "Oh yeah we've been charging you $100 each session you've had the past few months. Let's fix that to the $10 it should've been for future sessions. We'll send you a check of what we overcharged ($600+) you by mail." Like, I have to call for them to fix that and to notify them they've overcharged me and owe me money. In the meantime they'll gladly take your money and not mention any of it at all if you're not on top of it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, LITERALLY.

This review is for the booking staff, which has been a tremendous help on following up and getting me paired with the perfect therapist. Lucky specifically went above and beyond to help me get paired up with a second therapist, making sure he went through the qualifications of the therapist to ensure they would meet my needs. THANK YOU so much Lucky and Silver Lake for making this process seamless!

This review has 4 stars for the therapist but certainly not for the billing department. I started working with Nadia around May of this year and she has been great. From the very first meeting she was checking in on me to see how things were going, was very open in explaining how things worked and accommodating to sometimes meeting in person and sometimes online. I did a couple sessions of EMDR with her and I highly recommend. It was a great experience that had me walk away feeling confident and heard by her. The billing department, on the other had, gave me some troubles. From the beginning, I messaged asking if they took my insurance and how much it would be on my end. I was told a certain amount but that I would have to do at least one session so that they could bill the insurance company and see if that was the actual amount. Not a fan of having to do a session before knowing the price but I did one and then waited a couple weeks until I got confirmation of the price. Fast forward to September and low and behold, in my bank statement was a huge extra charge. After searching around for any type of communication about this, and finding none, I reached out and asked what the char

Camille the intake coordinator is fantastic! I've never spoken to someone so nice and so willing to help. She is so sweet to talk to, extremely helpful, and compassionate. After my first meeting with my assigned therapist, she checked on me to make sure my session ran smoothly and I was okay with the therapist. She is just incredible. As far as the therapist I was assigned, I've only had 1 meeting with her so far but she's great as well! Very easy to talk to.
