About South Park Pharmacy

Located at 1120 S Grand Ave Suite 103, Los Angeles, CA 90015, South Park Pharmacy operates as a pharmacy serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Medical services in California range from neighborhood family practices to major hospital systems. Ask whether the provider accepts your plan (Medicare, Medicaid or a private insurer), what the copay is and whether a referral is required. Pharmacies can advise on common ailments and many medicines are available over the counter, but a proper diagnosis from a doctor is the safer route for anything that lasts more than a few days.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 9 am–8:30 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach South Park Pharmacy at (213) 745-5000; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating is 3.5 out of 5 from 45 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is one of my favorite places to go to! Their staff is kind and friendly and I love that I’m able to go to the pharmacy not just to buy prescriptions but also gifts, coffee, drinks, food and much more.

I moved all my prescriptions here since its walking distance from my new apartment. Ive had no issues, I call they pick up. Communication is good. They have this app where I pay for my prescriptions ahead of time and pick it up paid and I just walk out. Efficient!

I left CVS because I’m dealing with cancer and a long list of prescriptions, and I needed a pharmacy experience that felt a little more… human. I switched to Southpark and spoke with Raoul, who was genuinely kind, attentive, and helpful. He asked me to send over my doctor records and diagnosis, which felt a bit unusual, but I agreed and had my doctor forward everything. For about a week, things went smoothly. After that, the service started slipping. Refills were delayed because they “didn’t anticipate” them, and then the breaking point: I had one particularly difficult medication to fill. On the day it was due, when I was completely out, I received a text saying they couldn’t fill it and that I should go somewhere else. I understand that pharmacies face supply issues and constraints. But telling a patient to scramble at the last second, especially when the medication is time sensitive, is not acceptable. It felt unprofessional and unnecessarily stressful in a space where reliability matters. I’ve since moved my prescriptions to Amazon Pharmacy, and it has been a total game changer: consistent, predictable, and significantly easier to manage.

Super strange energy here. They seemingly have quality products, but we spent about $25 on various groceries and household items then asked to use the restroom. The cashier informed us the restroom is for “customers only”, immediately after we’d received our receipt… presumably making us customers? I questioned this, and she informed me I would have to ask the other cashier in the “cafe” portion of the store. He informed us he could not give out the key to anyone as he’d been in trouble many times. I asked the cashier again whether or not we could use the restroom, and she said she couldn’t answer. Very odd, and very dismissive attitude amongst the staff. Not sure how we didn’t qualify as “customers” after spending $25, or if it had to do with the profiling mentioned by other reviewers. I’d avoid this place is you’re a person of color or LGBTQ.

Love this little place. They have everything you need. The cafe is a great place to catch a bite and a beverage. Great friendly service too.
