San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I highly recommend Luz and her team at Spanish Language Learning Center to anyone who is interested in starting their Spanish language journey or expanding their existing knowledge of the Spanish language. They utilize a unique approach centered on repetition and practice based on real life situations. When my wife and I were travelling to Costa Rica, they incorporated words, phrases, and real-world scenarios into out classes that would be beneficial for us to know while travelling. The knowledge and skills we gained at Spanish Language Learning Center gave us the confidence to ask a waitress at the restaurant near the hotel to help us practice our Spanish; she made sure we sat in our section every night and we told her about Luz and her team and were able to order our food – all in Spanish. Those skills we gained were invaluable and have continued to help in all facets of our life, from communicating with coworkers in a work environment to family and friends. The warm, inclusive environment in the classroom led to relationships that will last a lifetime and made us feel like family.

This Spanish learning education center has been one of the best experiences I have engaged my time towards. I am a visual and an actively engaged learner. The lessons that has been taught to me during my time at this center has been very enlightening. The instructors is one of the most professional and friendly teachers. They actually want you to learn the language they love and in return I end up hyped about each course learned. Just want to give some love and say whoever is down for some Spanish, this is the center to visit. Much thanks and appreciation for the time invested on my language growth.

I am very happy with this school and highly recommend it! The owner, Luz Hutchins is a delightful woman; warm, friendly and patient. The school offers a free introduction class (a full hour) so you can see how class is taught and if you like the vibe before you sign up snd pay. Luz has been teaching for 50 years and this school is her baby. She uses visual aids and fun, interactive games which is great for visual learners like me. There is a also a workbook with 12 lessons and we covered roughly one lesson per week. You can expect to spend 2 hours a week on homework. In class you review the lesson in the book, practicing pronunciation, reading and speaking. The school is professional yet it retains a small, family business-feel. It’s very clean and super organized. Scheduling is easy and I definitely got my money’s worth!!

I have been going to this center for almost two years now and I take the one on one sessions - with Marco, one of the instructors. The course levels vary in terms of how they teach it - sometimes, it's a lot of videos and sometimes, it's a lot of sentence structure and grammar. Everyone is really nice and they do have group classes. They also have good flexible hours - since I work during the day, I can come after work.
