I love the format and focus on speaking. With Cedric, Iβve been studying French in 15 minutes x 4 days a week and it really has improved my speaking and accent. Short Conversations is easy to manage with work and talking with a native French speaker regularly gets the language in my ear. Cedric is a terrific teacher adjusting to what I need. Highly recommend!

We took classes with Cedric ahead of moving to France for my partners job and truly could not recommend these classes more! They made a world of a difference and so quickly helped us pick up the language. By making you actually practice speaking and leading more with French youβll use as opposed to grammar, within 16 hours of lessons I was able to get around within town. Highly recommend!

I have been an adult student at this school for over a year now. My instructor Cedric is terrific. I had been taking the typical classroom instruction in French at a different school and I learned vocabulary there, but I never felt that I was learning to SPEAK French easily. My instructor is very patient and emphasizes speaking naturally. And it is working! I feel much more comfortable speaking French than I used to. My instructor is very prompt for our meeting times and seems to genuinely want to help his students. This school is now offering instruction in additional languages and I'm sure they will have competent instruction in those languages too. If you choose to attend the SPEAK OKAY school, you will not be disappointed and will have a positive experience, I encourage you to attend!!!

I started learning French as an adult (not easy!!), taking traditional grammar-centered classes. This worked fine to get grammar and pronunciation basics, but my ultimate goal was to be able to express myself with my French speaking family members, and I just wasnβt making as much progress as I wanted. Cedric at Speak Okay does a great job of getting you out of the books and into conversation. He is an expert at adapting classes to the studentsβ levels in both a group setting and one-on-one. I have spent most of my time in the group classes - Cedric has a creative mind, which makes the classes engaging, fun, and it keeps the conversation interesting between students, centered on relevant situations that matter to the group. We listen to and discuss ads, work through song lyrics, improvise scenarios, talk about our lives, debate ideas, and more. Iβm grateful that Speak Okay classes are really no judgement zones, so itβs safe to try things out, and be yourself. I would highly recommend Speak Okay French to anyone who is motivated to, or needs to find the confidence to, get talking! My confidence and fluency have increased dramatically over the past few years and it is so gratifying t

I wanted to learn French so that I could travel and speak French with ease. Speak Okayβs method is very effective - I am learning quickly and my fluency is increasing with every lesson. I like the short lessons throughout the week so that the things Iβm learning stay fresh and start to become more natural. Iβve taken more traditional classroom language classes, but I think this improves your language skills much faster. Iβve been able to focus on my accent, the flow of speaking, and the way that a French person would say things. The lessons are conversational, which really helps with flow and how to structure what you want to say. Highly recommend!!
