one of the best latin dance spot in town. but I got refuse entry today due to this doorman. 1) I just came back from San Diego carrying a backpack, my train is delayed so I was late. The dress theme was black for free entry, so I told this doorman, I can change to a black shirt. 2) He says it needs to be all black so I showed him indeed I have a black shirt in my backpack. But he was on a power trip and say I can't enter because I have an empty water bottle in my backpack. 3) So apparently the place doesn't have a coat room, and as a traveller I don't have a car. So there's no way for me to enter the venue tonight and became a waste of my time. Reply for owner's response: keeping my review here so others are aware of the no empty water bottle policy. In addition, train better greeters, this one is untrained, has a dismissive attitude, have no empathy towards my situation and outright ignores me. I'm already frustrated by my train delay reaching LA 2+ hrs late with no time in between to drop off my things in my hotel to attend this dance party, and yet have to have a wasted trip both in time and money.

If you're looking for amazing food, handcrafted cocktails, live entertainment, and dancing all under one roof, Steven's Steak & Seafood House is the place! From the moment we walked in, we were treated like VIPs. Huge shout-out to Annabelle, our host, who was so friendly and welcoming. We mentioned we planned on staying after dinner to dance, and she thoughtfully seated us near the DJ. Those little touches really make a difference. Our server, Kristen, was amazing! She was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever making us feel rushed. The service was top-notch from start to finish. The ambiance was beautiful—moody lighting, elegant décor, and a classy old-school vibe that was perfect for a night out. The live entertainment during dinner added so much to the experience. Now for the food… their July special featuring a ribeye steak with shrimp fettuccine Alfredo for only $24.99 is an incredible deal. The steak was cooked perfectly, the shrimp Alfredo was creamy and flavorful, and the portions were generous. Easily a 10/10! Because its a restaurant night club the wait to sit was understandable. We waited about an hour. Its loud, but that because we were near the dance floor. Theres a lot going on but the waitress have the routine down great. Even with the a packed house, they have great customer service.

I happen to go for my niece's banquet. The parking is okay depending on the entrance you enter. They have 3 different parking options; a valet entrance on Stevens place, a free parking entrance on Eastern and, lastly, street parking. Depending on the portion of the hall you rent, it has an accessible wheelchair entrance. The inside is gorgeous and spacious (depending which portion you rent out for your occasion). They did cater the event, and most of the for was delicious (I did get delicious but dry chicken and a lot of fatty portions with my beef). I would recommend the location.

First time here and it didn't disappoint. The whole experience was great. We made reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. Our server was friendly and all smiles. Every staff member we encountered were very nice and happy to help. Food wise, we had the calamari for appetizer (not pictured), NY steak and shrimp scampi, creme brulee. Also, not pictured, the carne Asad plate, veggie pasta, and flan. We all enjoyed our food and overall experience here. I will be sure to visit, when I'm in town again.
