Joseph was my barber today, and he did an outstanding job. He immediately understood the look I was going for and delivered one of the best haircuts I’ve had. He also shaped my eyebrows and covered the gray hair on my sideburns, which was a great extra touch. He truly went above and beyond to make sure everything looked perfect. Excellent service, great attention to detail, and a fantastic experience overall. Highly recommended!

This was my first haircut in 12 years. I'm one of those guys that started shaving his head completely after years of thinning hair. I recently decided to grow it back out, horseshoe and all. After a few weeks of growth I decided it was time to get it cleaned up. I didn't think it was possible to make male pattern baldness look good and I figured if I didn't like it I'll just go back to shaving it. Shalom hooked it up! His skill and expertise was on full display and I couldn't be happier. I only gave him an idea of what I wanted and allowed him to do his thing without too many instructions. I have a long beard that I'm very protective of and didn't want it touched. At his suggestion, I allowed him to trim just a little on the sideburns and mustache, and that just brought it all together and really achored the haircut even more. I was only in DTLA for the weekend so I'm not sure I'll return but only because of the long drive from the Inland Empire. But Shalom showed me what is possible and that I can look and feel good with male pattern baldness and that there are options beyond shaving it all off.

Shalom has been my barber for years now from NY to LA hands down the best in the industry, I am very particular with my hair and he always does it right! and the vibe in the shop is always great. Truly always a great experience at Shalom Styles.

My boy Billy always takes good care of me. I’ve been going to him for 8 years now and he never disappoints! He does both my color and my hair. Today he did a fade and a little trim for my hair. Love the new look. The shop is really cool and has a nice New York/LA blended vibe. Everyone here seems to have a cool and unique style and I felt comfortable and entertained the entire time I was there. The compliments I get on the street and at events I attend are non-stop so it’s totally worth the trek from Orange County to LA to get my hair done here! Thanks again Billy you’re the best!

This was the first time that we visited, and off the bat the ambience was lit. Everyone was professional and nice, and welcomed us in. They were quick to take us, and.Johnny B helped us out. He knew exactly what we asked for and completely delivered. We will definitely be coming back. Did an amazing job and was quick and efficient. Not to mention he had us laughing and smiling the whole time.
