This was a great location not far from San Diego attractions. Easy registration and while it was packed, it was easy to get to our site and park the RV. There very little room for guests to park so if you want to have visitors you'll have to make some creative arrangements. The few guest parking spots do exist are only for 2-hour parking. There were a lot of kids who rode their bikes all day and played in the pool and splash park. It was great to see so many kids enjoying the outdoors.

Had a great weekend at Sun Outdoors in Chula Vista. Amazing facilities clean at all times and felt secure to stay there with my family. The staff was so helpful specifically Joanna from the front desk. I had a lot of questions and concerns and she took her time to answer all af them. She made sure my family and i were taken care of and she made everything feel smooth. Definitely will be staying here again in the near future.

We recently visited Sun Outdoors San Diego from Riverside County, and my family and I absolutely fell in love with this place. First off, the location is incredibly convenient, right off the freeway and super easy to get to. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted immediately by the staff, which set the tone for a great stay. The team in the office was friendly and welcoming (bonus points for repping the Padres!). The on site store had everything we needed, and getting our key access card made entering the community smooth and hassle free. There is almost too much to do here in the best way possible. The pool was our favorite spot, while my son couldn’t get enough of the arcade and my daughter loved the playground. We also brought our dogs, and the dog park was a huge hit. We enjoyed some great food at the poolside restaurant, and having it delivered directly to us was such a nice touch. The complimentary drink coins were a great perk as well. The concrete trailer pads were a huge plus, especially for my wife’s allergies. The views were absolutely incredible, seeing the Coronado Bridge and downtown San Diego was a highlight. We recently spent 3 days / 2 nights in one of the resort’s bayfront cottages (there are only six of these available). The cottage can accommodate up to six guests, but our stay was just for me, my wife, and our wheaten terrier. This review reflects our experience specifically as cottage guests, since those staying in RV spaces may have a very different experience. It was also our first visit to this RV resort, and we did not participate in many of the on-site activities. That said, we truly enjoyed our stay. The resort was very clean, the staff was welcoming and engaging with guests, and we appreciated how dog-friendly the property is. The location is also excellent — conveniently close to the I-5 freeway, nearby walking and bicycling trails, downtown Chula Vista, and the newly built Gaylord Resort property less than half a mile to the south. While amenities such as the pickleball courts, swimming pool, hot tubs, and putting green looked inviting, we did not personally use them during this visit. We ate dinner at the on-site café both evenings, and every dish we ordered was reasonably priced, generously portioned, and served fresh and hot. The staff was friendly and attentive thr
