Iβve been here over a dozen times in the last three years visiting family that stays here. I've always said i am going to pick up family or go see my family and they let me right in no issues. today an older blonde ish woman (older than 50) couldn't find my families spot and would not let us enter. after proving the spot she wanted $15 and all our personal information just to enter to go pick up my children from a relatives spot. she was rude and combative ! i will no longer have my family stay here anymore! literally the one rude person at this place she must be a new volunteer as we have never seen her before.

I gave this only 4 stars because of the constant air traffic and 2 surrounding interstates. The air traffic was the worst a jet almost every 1.3 minutes. You couldn't sit outside and enjoy yourself. The park itself is a 5. There is also a huge ant problem, be sure to spray your surroundings

The rangers are awesome! The handicapped sites are very nice! Some sites have beautiful views! For the most part the campground is quiet and peaceful!

Great campground. The rangers are super friendly. The bathroom in the newer section is nice and private for showers but the family facilities struggle with random trashing from guest children I guess. During the prime camping season it can be crowded. Nice trails nearby and a view and breeze on the bluffs. I believe most spots are level and pretty easy to maneuver around. Vegetation is nice with shade. Picnic tables and fire rings at each spot. Near a golf course. Near most San Diego attractions. Low cost less than $40 a night.

Love this place and almost everything about it. Volunteers/staff are awesome and do a tremendously great job with the Rv sites. Not once have I come here and seen it with trash everywhere. They really keep everything up to standard. The rules can be a bit much like usual in Cali. However, if it's a rule, it's because someone has most likely abused the system or couldn't use common sense. I have seen both, so can't be mad at the park for that.
