Long Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Long Beach follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The food the atmosphere ! I have a long history of going here made close friends here met up with others .The service is solid !, so good and no nonsense . Watche the games here. Food is bloody brilliant . Unique menu , hits the spot ,so comforting and international flavors so culturally special. I recommend the savory shepherds pie or the savory meat plate with the veggies and meats and cheese. It is so mind blowingly delicious ! Stop eating same stuff on every corner come here. Eat drink watch the band or game.

Typically, an Irish bar near a convention center can be a cliche - your usual line up of Irish beers and couple of Irish whiskey (think Guinness and Jameson), loud music (most likely from 90s), and a half a dozen TVs with sports on. While this place had all those, it was tacky, had decent food, friendly service, and its own charm. Anyone wanted to avoid franchise establishments while attending a conference in Long Beach ought to give this place a chance. Recommended.

We were in Long Beach for a cruise and we went to the Auld Dubliner pre / post cruise (March 13 & March 22/2026). We had the fish and chips both times, and I must say it was excellent! We got a large portion of perfectly battered haddock, that came with some good hand cut fries (chips) and coleslaw. The gentleman serving us was a nice guy, and was completely on the ball (wish I had his name). Also had some nice beers and a cocktail. Great service, and the food came extremely fast. The food going to other tables also looked very good. An added bonus on the second trip there (Sunday) was the people playing Irish music at one of the tables. I would highly recommend this place for those looking for some excellent fish and chips in a great environment!!

A proper pub and not just an Irish themed drinking bar. The food is well prepared and incredible. The drinks are well built, the beer is served at correct temperature.
