San Francisco is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Francisco is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Great location. You can easily walk places or take a quick ride on public transportation to get places. The amenities create a serene experience. The hot tub, sauna and cold eucalyptus towels offered relief to my tired legs after a full day of walking around! The staff offered lots of information and tips on where to go and how to get around. Very lovely!

My family and I came here for a couple nights for the 4th of July. Parking at the hotel is very expensive, $57 a night. We know someone who lives in the area so we were able to leave our car with them. Upon check in, everyone was nice and got us checked in. We were asked if we needed help with our luggage but we didnβt have much. I like how the staff seem to always acknowledge me when I came down the elevator. They would smile, say hi, open the door. The room was large and the AC unit worked well. We were able to use the sauna and hot tub the first night and that was very nice. The hot tub is pretty small, luckily we had it all to ourselves. Leaving the hotel you really donβt need a car, everything is within walking distance. There is a good breakfast place right down the street. After the fireworks we had to walk back to the hotel late at night because Waymo and uber was not available. The area around the hotel at night can be pretty dangerous. We encountered people doing drugs on the street. Someone also followed us for a while and when he got close to me I moved to the side and watched him. I have no idea what he was trying to do, maybe snatch my purse. We let him go ahead then

My family has been going to the club donatello for as long as I can remove. My grandparents were always taking us to see Joy on the piano. I love coming here for the location and nostalgia. There is a hot tub and nice upper lounge area with indoor/ outdoor views of the city. The rooms are spacious and the staff is always super friendly.
