Hiring a contractor or service provider in the United States works best with a clear brief: describe the job, ask for a written estimate, agree on timing and payment stages, and confirm who supplies materials. Licensed trades such as plumbers, electricians and HVAC technicians must hold a state or city license and carry insurance; ask for the license number and proof of coverage before substantial work. Get two or three estimates for larger jobs. For professional services such as legal, accounting or immigration work, ask about credentials, bar or CPA licenses and previous clients.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I chose The Energy Company mainly because of the flexibility in their solar energy plans. The pricing was competitive, and everything was explained clearly. Communication has been solid, and I feel confident in the agreement I signed. No issues so far.

I couldn't be more thrilled with the solar and storage system installed by The Energy Company. From start to finish, their team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise. The initial consultation with Josh was informative and tailored to my specific energy needs. Installation was completed efficiently and ahead of schedule. The crew was courteous, clean, and meticulous in their work. They took great care to ensure all wiring was neatly concealed and the overall installation looked sleek. The battery storage system they recommended has been a game-changer, providing reliable backup power during outages and optimizing my energy usage. Post-installation support has been top-notch, with the company promptly addressing any questions and helping me understand my new energy monitoring system. Since going solar, my electricity bills have plummeted, and I'm proud to be reducing my carbon footprint. I highly recommend The Energy Company for anyone considering solar and storage solutions. They've truly exceeded my expectations in every way.

I started this project in November 2023. I had my solar panels installed in January 2024. The electrical panel was to be upgraded also. I have contacted The Energy Co many times, both email and phone message concerning the status of my panel upgrade. As of July 2024 the permit is still sitting in my city planning division and is awaiting 2 corrections. The energy company will not make the corrections and will not finish my project. I have $20,000 worth of solar panels sitting on my roof, doing NOTHING. This is the worst company I have ever worked with.

I was always hesitant to look into solar panels because of the cost. We had many sales rep try and get us to hear their spiel about solar panels but our 4 dogs would usually chase them away. Our sales rep at The Energy Company, Carlos Pedro, was not thwarted by our silly dogs. He managed to convince me about the cost savings and why it would be a good idea to get them installed. He assured me we would have no upfront cost for our panels and that our monthly payments would be the same every month with the yearly increase of 2% each year. We have been so impressed by Carlos and his attention in getting this done for us. The process itself took a few months (2 to be exact). He was there to answer our questions and concerns and made it a point to swing by to check on the progress whenever he was in the area. We not only paid zero upfront costs for our 10 solar panels but we received $1560 in cash which is equivalent to one whole year of free energy. We would highly recommend this company and especially Carlos, who was an excellent sales rep.

I had Solar installed on my home in December 2020. My Solar sales rep, Javier Alvarez did an excellent job. They put a new roof on my house, the installation was on schedule and they did a great job. Weβve had a couple of good rains, and no leaks. Iβm so happy with the job, that Iβve decided to go through Javier to put solar on two more of my houses. They just finished the second installation, and everything was finished on schedule and no problems. They replaced part of my roof on that house too. If your considering Solar, I would highly recommend talking to Javier, he will take good care of you!
