Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in Los Angeles peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

An absolute favorite stop on our trip! We spent hours here walking the loop twice, shopping at Edikted and Brandy Melville, checking out the unique Apple Store, Nike by you, and eating through the Farmers Market. Waiting 30 minutes at La La Land Kind Cafe was totally worth the vibe and coffee. The only downside was the garage parking—rates aren't clearly displayed upfront, and staying ~4 hours set us back about $23 with no real alternative parking around. Next time, I'll definitely keep it under 1–2 hours and ask vendors for validation!

The Grove is one of my favorite places to visit whenever my daughter and I are in Los Angeles. I love beautiful places, and this is much more than just a shopping center. It’s the kind of place where you want to dress up, take your time, and simply enjoy the atmosphere. The beautifully decorated storefronts, charming architecture, and the fountain in the center make every visit feel special. I especially love the cafés with their French-style outdoor seating, where people relax over a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. Even if I’m not shopping, I enjoy walking around, people-watching, and soaking in the atmosphere. It always feels elegant, lively, and inspiring. A perfect place for a relaxing afternoon in Los Angeles. ❤️ Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys beautiful surroundings, good coffee, and a little bit of European charm.

As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and SERA Archives Thriller Series, I always notice locations with strong layout and flow, and The Grove is one of the most popular shopping destinations in Los Angeles. This is a very active area, and the large parking garage is necessary because there are always a lot of people here. It can be a little tricky to access depending on traffic, but once you’re in, the layout works well. The Grove is designed more like a small city street than a traditional mall. That setup gives it a much more open and interesting feel, with walkways, storefronts, and gathering areas that make it easy to spend time just moving through the space. There’s a central fountain and multiple dining options, which adds to the atmosphere and makes it more than just a place to shop. It feels like a destination rather than a stop. I’ve also found myself walking through areas like this while working on The Maui Desire Romance Series, where that mix of movement, energy, and open-air design can easily translate into scenes. Overall, it’s a high-energy, well-designed shopping area with a unique layout and a strong presence in the city. Do note that parking is pa

The Grove is always a vibe especially during the holidays when everything is beautifully decorated. The store selection isn't quite as extensive as other shopping outdoors , but it's still a great spot to visit every now and then for shopping, walking around, and enjoying the atmosphere. H&M and Zara finally opened up here, which is a nice addition! The AMC theater here is great too, making it a perfect place to catch a movie after grabbing a coffee or doing a little shopping. Overall, it's a fun place to hang out and spend a few hours.

Visited The Grove in LA, and it’s more than just a shopping mall — it feels like a mix of shopping, entertainment, and a mini theme park. The whole place is designed really well. The outdoor layout, fountain show, and even the vintage-style trolley make it a fun place to walk around, even if you’re not planning to shop much. There are plenty of popular brands and restaurants, so it’s easy to spend a few hours here. It’s also connected to the Original Farmers Market, which gives you even more food options. What I liked most is the atmosphere, especially in the evening when the lights turn on. It feels lively but still relaxed, and definitely very “LA vibe.” Prices are on the higher side, and parking can be a bit tricky during busy times, but overall it’s a very enjoyable place to visit. Overall, it’s not just for shopping — it’s a great spot to hang out, eat, and experience a classic LA lifestyle. Check my profile for travel tips and hidden deals.
