I usually have up and down experiences at home Depot due to not being able to find someone to assist me, however today an employee named Raymond in the lumber yard provided me assistance an excellent customer service, even though he was busting his ass off trying to assist everyone around him. Perhaps they were short-staffed again.. hopefully he was able to get his lunch..

This is an amazing store. They have a rare quality that non-existent for most retail establishments these days, "EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE"!! From the time you walk in the door to every aisle you walk down, you are greeted with a hello and a smile and asked if you need assistance. This was very consistent throughout my visit to the store. So during a time when I thought good customer service was dead, they have renewed my hope. Thank you HOME DEPOT.

Shout out to Ebony at Elk Grove Home Depot. There were 3 staff available at the self-check-out area and Ebony was really kind and quickly wanted to assist me with all my items. She was easy to talk to and scanned everything for me; a very quick and smooth process. Honestly the best service I’ve received in the self-scanning area. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

I wanted to give a shout out to Mela in the paint department! Even though I’ve been a Home Depot junkie for over 20 years now, no one before Mela has ever talked to me about cabinet and trim paint before she did, and it has forever changed my world for the better! My new bathroom vanity turned out gorgeous, and it wouldn’t have been that way if Mela hadn’t encouraged me to consider the specialized paint. She even did a color match for me that was perfect! Mela is yet another big reason I love my Elk Grove Home Depot!

The shopping was quick-and-easy. We got some rope and carabineers and the checkout was quick. There were many rope and carabineer products. The staff were friendly and nice. The price was fair but the wood cutting machine is very loud. The loud machine just hurt my ears. It was clean and organized and all the wood had a nice smell. In the bathroom one of the yrinals is out of order.
