2 stars is generous for this being a Ritz and the price you pay. For what you pay, this is probably the worst Ritz property I’ve been to and I’ve been to many. Outdated, basic rooms. My $800 a night room that I get for being a platinum member with them looks right over the pool and pickleball courts. The thing about pickleball is the ball is so loud when they hit the ball, the sound comes into the room bright and early and you hear it literally all day until the courts close late at night. Why they would put those right outside of the rooms is beyond me. Then there’s the other little things. In exchange for your room number for being platinum, I’m entitled to a free cup of coffee …. Like that’s so crazy to give away a cup of coffee. Motel 6 has better breakfast/coffee programs. There’s no fridge, no mini bar… I haven’t seen a Hotel without a fridge in 20 years. Wild The only nice thing about the hotel is the staff. I would not stay here. Jamaica Bay Inn and others in the marina are nicer than this. I’ve stayed at most hotels in the marina and this is the least bang for your buck. Really suprised myself

This review is entirely for Elizabeth at Cast and Plow and Guillermo at the pool. These two made the whole experience so memorable and enjoyable. My only critique for this hotel stay is to have separate kids and adults pools because a relaxing day at the pool turned into a kids summer camp with screaming and splashing and babies wearing pull ups in the pool. This will unfortunately be my last time at this hotel as I will search for ones that have separate children’s recreation areas.

We were looking for a wedding venue with water elements, and loved that the Ritz-Carlton is right on the marina. It was great getting to tour in person as a potential wedding venue, mainly because of the 11/10 hospitality that Jessica showed us. It’s a pet-friendly hotel right off the marina, and you’re allowed and even encouraged to incorporate your dog into your wedding. We loved the pool area as a space for cocktail hour as it is between the Rose Garden for the wedding ceremony and the ballroom for the main reception dinner and dancing. They provide a speaker system and microphone to amplify the ceremony in the Rose Garden, and there are outlets throughout so you can have a DJ or quartet play for ambient music The pool is available in-the off season months, such as March, and it’s also the same pool that was used in the 1998 film The Parent Trap, which was nostalgic for both my mom and I (she joined us on this tour). One of the best spaces for photos is at the top of the stairwell above the water fountain by your ceremony space, which is where the bride has her grand entrance reveal at the beginning of the ceremony. The best experience despite the room was on the renovation plan. Great service upon check in till check out. Front desk, bell man, restaurant, sales person : Kat, and limousine service have done a good job. Well caring customer indeed ❤️. Thank you so much for making our stay for 2 weeks in USA as the best.
