This park always has a nice stick for my dog to play with.

This is only about the softball field, lighting is poor and they have the lights perfectly adjusted so when playing first if the infielders throws it at the right height the ball gets lost in the lights, it’s a wonder game of turn my head away and stick my glove out and hope I guessed correctly where the ball was going and if I didn’t it will just bounce off the back of my head. The outfield is the same often playing hide and seek with the lights as you’re always going to loose track of the ball mid flight. They also play hide and seek with the placement of bases as they like to bury the base locations making it difficult to locate for the games, we actually played with first base at different lengths than 2nd/3rd.

I love this park, great for dogs and they have lights for the softball field so you can still take your pup there at night if u get off work late!!

My sister had a little pre-wedding BBQ at the park for 60ish of us guests. We brought in rented tables and chairs, but the park’s ground were stable enough for folks to sit all afternoon at the tables and not sink into the turf. Rain had hit Sacramento pretty hard that morning, and we specifically chose the location behind the playground because it seemed to be the driest grassy area. Folks in pretty dresses and expensive shoes had no problem walking around and sitting on the lawn. Our party was from 4-7, and about 6pm a group of locals showed up to play some soccer. Because we had scooted ourselves to the far east side, the players were able to make a field on the other side.

My wunderdog Sequoia, and I come to this park almost on a daily basis. It's one of the best parks to let your dog run free. She's not really a dog she's a little girl in a dogs costume. I digress. It's a pretty safe Park if you're aware of your surroundings at all times.. I'm always there drawing
