Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sacramento follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This location has such potential. The people are nice enough, but there is rarely enough employees for the general public’s services. I am currently standing in line at 5:07PM, with 1 hour left of the post offices’ business hours, and there is 1 employee helping a line of 12+ people. How does that make sense when the general public are off work between 4-5pm? 1 person helping 12+ people. When I come here closer to noon, some employees are beyond helpful and that’s a relief. Other employees here talk to you like YOU work at the post office and know the answers, we don’t. The reviews to this place appear unfortunately accurate. I drop packages off here regularly and there are always 2 computers/employee slots open and unavailable to the general public. It is sad why the managers don’t at least acknowledge the low staffing and make some sort of announcement.

Dont go to this place for passport appointment. I was disappointed with the customer service experience. While the service itself may have been fine, the way customers are spoken to really matters. I felt there was unnecessary attitude during interactions, and it made the experience uncomfortable. I hope the staff can work on communicating more respectfully and professionally with customers moving forward.

I visited this USPS location for passport services for my baby and was extremely disappointed with the experience. Before my visit, I read multiple reviews from customers describing poor customer service and hoped my experience would be different. Unfortunately, it was exactly as described. The lady assisting us was rude, impatient, and unhelpful. As parents applying for a passport for our baby, we had a few basic questions about the process and required documents, but she seemed annoyed and unwilling to provide clear answers. Instead of making the process easier, she made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. What is even more concerning is that many of the reviews describe similar experiences, which suggests this is not an isolated incident. After reading those reviews and then experiencing the same treatment firsthand, it appears that little to nothing has been done to address the ongoing customer service issues at this location. Customers deserve to be treated with respect and professionalism, especially when navigating important services such as passport applications for their children. I hope USPS management takes these concerns seriously and works to improve the customer exp

I had an extremely frustrating experience with USPS Post Office. I waited in line for over 30 minutes just to get help, only to be told that my package which has been sitting at this location for over a month was supposedly “returned to sender.” The problem is, there have been zero updates or tracking changes reflecting that. No accountability, no clear answers. Customer service is the only reason this isn’t a zero-star review. The woman at the front was the only person who showed any effort to assist. Unfortunately, the rest of the staff came off as unhelpful, dismissive, and frankly incompetent. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they made it seem like I was the problem when this is literally their responsibility. Lack of communication, lack of urgency, and a complete disregard for customers’ time and property. I would strongly recommend avoiding this location if possible.

I am writing to share a concerning experience I had at this United States Postal Service location I recently visited. During my visit, I approached the front desk and politely requested a passport application form, explaining that I did not have access to a printer. The employee assisting me, Mary, informed me that I would need to print the application myself and stated that she would not provide one. She was very rude and disrespectful not only to me but other customers that were in front of me. She indicated that although the forms were available at the desk, she did not want to distribute them in order to avoid running out for future customers. I was surprised and disappointed by this response. As a customer seeking assistance with a passport service, I expected to receive appropriate support, especially since passport application forms are standard materials typically provided at USPS locations offering passport services. The interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful, which made the experience frustrating. I respectfully ask that this matter be reviewed to ensure that customers are treated professionally and provided with reasonable assistance when requesting standard forms.
