I sincerely enjoy this beautiful Post Office on E St, in downtown San Diego. The staff have always been friendly and courteous, upbeat and ready to help where they can. Today I visited to buy a Postal Money Order. I walked right up to the counter, no waiting in line, and had the extreme pleasure of having Ms. Carol at the window. What an excellent experience! She's so great, professional and has one heck of a beautiful smile. If you have the opportunity to have Ms. Carol as your Post Office Window Person, you are going to be amazed and delighted with the awesome level of service she provides! Thank you, Carol!!

Came in to talk to someone about a missing package, thinking that I would get help quicker.. was told that I needed to file claim and missing mail search online. Alright, that's fine. But why did the lady there look at me like I was the crazy one? I don't appreciate being sneered at for asking something they think is stupid. It's very rude.

Marlon is always so very helpful when I need to mail out things. I went with a big bundle of small gifts for my friends and family to post. He was so patient and helpful. He showed me the best way to save money and time with them. I appreciate him for his positive friendly, professional expertise.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Treatment at USPS Location – 815 E St, San Diego, CA I am submitting this report to document an incident that occurred at the United States Post Office located at 815 E St, San Diego, CA 92101. While attempting to complete a change-of-address request related to an urgent relocation, I informed staff that I was moving following a violent incident and that I needed assistance resolving an issue with the online address verification system. During this interaction, I experienced extremely dismissive and hostile treatment from staff. Rather than providing assistance or directing me toward a solution, I was told to leave the premises. The interaction felt unnecessarily aggressive and lacked the basic level of customer service expected from a federal service location. Given the circumstances I described, I believe the situation warranted a more professional and supportive response. Being told to leave while attempting to resolve a legitimate service issue created additional stress during an already difficult situation. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed and that the conduct of the staff involved be evaluated to ensure members of the public are

This beautiful vintage building is the Downtown San Diego US Post Office. Inside, the details are incredible, made with tons of marble and brass. Despite the homeless around the area, the manager is always in contact with the city to help clean and maintain its surroundings to better serve the community, making it a very central and easily accessible location for everyone. Staff are very welcoming, helpful more than that, knowledgeable.
