Cars in the United States need regular servicing, and a reliable mechanic is worth keeping in your contacts. Ask for an itemized estimate before work starts, keep old parts if you want to verify what was replaced, and check whether the price includes labor, shop fees and tax. OEM parts cost more than aftermarket ones; ask which you are getting. Servicing at an independent shop does not void a new-car warranty as long as the schedule is followed.
The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 amβ4:30 pm. It is closed on Saturday, Sunday. San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Diego is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

They are the only school south of LA to accept the GI Bill that I found. The staff is knowledgeable and makes sure the students are prepared for both the written and driving tests at the DMV. Rather than sending you to the DMV with the bare minimum of hours, they will continue training you and only send you when they believe youβre ready. Instead of single drive axle day cab trucks, the train students in trucks with tandem drive axles and sleeper cabs and 48β trailers to better prepare students for work as a truck driver. They also give students the opportunity to train on manual transmission trucks. The office staff is very helpful, and they have lifetime placement services for graduates.

Only giving 3 starts because I really liked the instructors. I attended this school years ago. The way it was explained to me of how my GI bill would be charged is deceitful. The course is roughly a month but it will take 3 months off of your GI Bill. Being recruited by a so claimed retired military member, we are supposed to look out for one another, not what happened here. Donβt waste your GI bill here. As for my instructors, they were great. Knowledgeable and personable. Itβs really a crash course into truck driving. Not all get the same amount of road time. You are put in a truck with multiple people and rotate driving the DVM route. I had a person who had never driven a manual transmission before so he took most of our driving time.

To ensure you obtain your Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with absolute certainty, United is the ideal school to attend. I earned both my Class A and Class B licenses on my first attempt, and what sets this school apart is their commitment to your success. They wonβt allow you to take the test unless they are confident youβll pass. If you graduate but arenβt fully prepared, they wonβt send you to the DMV prematurely. Instead, they provide additional training for as long as necessary to hone your skills. Choosing United guarantees youβll secure your CDL. Trainers are all awsome Sean Tc Ted Jared Andre Dave and Christen thank you guys. GOD BLESS

I loved it! I'm prior service military and a handful of the instructors are also. The classroom instruction in the first two weeks was great; Dave is very informative and has an excellent style of delivery sharing the required information. They also have a simulator to prep for the truck yard. The last two weeks spent at their truck yard is when it gets real. What an experience driving vehicles this size. I primarily dealt with Ted, Jarrod, Sean and TC. They all have their own way of sharing information and providing training and that was perfect in helping you understand a topic. I totally recommend. Side Note: If you're a "thin-skinned" individual or you get your feelings hurt or are easily offended, you probably want to re-think coming here. These men have years of experience so if they're giving you correction, just take it! They know their stuff and are there to help. All you have to do is shut up, listen, ask questions for clarification, act on the information then wait/ask for feedback. I have zero experience with a tractor trailer and not only got my CDL permit in the first week, after I completed the 4-week course, I passed my test on 3/17/2025 and am now the proud owner

United Truck Driving School is your best choice if you're seeking your Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Gary is an excellent in class instructor, with a step by step teaching style with helpful broken down, on-point CDL study guides! Vee is also an excellent driving instructor who shares a lot of his years of CDL work experience by matching the in class instruction, straightforward, and very positive! United helps you become a professional driver to get you prepared to pass! Study hard, you got this! Give it your best and don't give up! I recommend this school, highlight your study guides and study materials, and listen to their top-notch driving instructors! π π π
