Universal Studios Hollywood is an incredible place for the whole family. The rides are exciting, the shows are entertaining, and the Studio Tour is an unforgettable experience. The Harry Potter and Super Nintendo World areas are amazing and full of detail. WaterWorld was my favorite show—it was absolutely incredible and exceeded all my expectations. Jurassic World – The Ride was also a highlight and so much fun. We spent the entire day here and had a fantastic time. Definitely worth visiting if you're in Los Angeles!

We were there from 9 am - 9 pm. So much to see! We enjoyed the Harry Potter section the best. We had a great meal at the 3 brooms restaurant. The tram tour was fun, as was the Jurassic Park ride. And the Water World show was great! We stayed for the light show on the castle. Our family had a great time!

What a great experience!!! Visited for my son's 18th bday and it was a vacation to remember. Make sure to visit olivanders first thing to get into a smaller wand ceremony. Mario World was a blast. Had fun on the studio tour learning about the park and more about the studio. Got tons of souvenirs and memories to take home with us. The food in the park was great and well priced.

We visited Universal Studios during Thanksgiving 2024 with my husband, our baby, and myself, and overall it was a very magical experience. The park was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made everything feel extra special for the holidays. Grinch story time was very enjoyable, especially for families, and the studio tour of the movie sets was super entertaining and a must-do. This was our second time visiting—our first was back in 2018—and this time they had Super Nintendo World, which was hands down the best thing the park offers. Mario World was incredible and definitely the highlight of our trip. One downside for us was the food. During our first visit, we tried the Simpsons burgers and they had no flavor at all. This time we tried the Mexican bowl and unfortunately had the same experience. We also got hot chocolate, which wasn’t good either. The food is definitely not the park’s strong point. Other than that, everything else was wonderful and very well done. It did get very busy in the afternoon since it was a holiday, but we still enjoyed our time and the festive atmosphere. Overall, it was a great experience and very memorable for our family. 🎄🎬🍄

Universal Studios is a mixed bag that really depends on how much you enjoy movies and how much you can tolerate crowds. If you are a Harry Potter fan, it is almost a non-negotiable experience. Walking into Hogsmeade or Diagon Alley for the first time is genuinely impressive because the scale and the detail make you feel like you have actually stepped onto a film set. The rides themselves are high-tech but can be repetitive. Universal relies heavily on 3D screens and motion simulators. After the third or fourth ride where you are being shaken in front of a giant screen, it can start to feel a bit samey, and if you get motion sickness easily, you might have a rough afternoon. That said, the newer additions like the VelociCoaster in Orlando or the Mario Kart ride in Hollywood are massive steps up in terms of physical thrills and interactivity. One of the biggest frustrations is the cost of everything once you are inside. Between the ticket price, parking, and a twenty dollar burger, your wallet takes a hit before you even get to a ride. The Express Pass is almost a necessity on weekends if you actually want to see the whole park, but it often costs as much as a second ticket. If you a
