I worked with Sheldon when he was just getting started. I had a project to add 2 additional windows to my condo in SF. The windows would provide me with a nice view. Sheldon was always prompt with his responses and fair with pricing. He was able to work with SF planning and building department, get the drawings approved (architectural, structural, environmental, etc) and we got the permits to do the work. He even had some contractors he introduced me to, I went with a different person, but Sheldon was helpful throughout the process. I would definitely recommend him.

From start to finish, Vicinity architects made our renovation project a wonderful experience. Sheldon is a great communicator, reliable and quick in his responses and just an overall awesome person to work with during a stressful project. The graphics he created to visualize our project really helped us feel confident about the decisions we were making to update our home. He was very invested in making or ideas come to realization and even provided some new ideas we hadn’t thought of while still staying within our budget constraints. Additionally, he is very knowledgeable in navigating the permit process and helped ensure our project obtained permit approval without issue. Couldn’t be happier with the final result!

Sheldon spearheaded our plans for building a house in the desert. He was easy to get a hold of, quick to reply to emails and perfectly understood what we wanted in design. He created something, special and unique within budget. He also helped navigate the permit process and finding additional engineers to consult on the project. We needed extra space and sleeping areas for our growing family of children and grandchildren at our summer home. Sheldon understood exactly what we wanted and drew different alternatives for size and building permits. He adjusted drawings to European measurements, rules and building codes. The builders had no problems to complete the cabin/cottage to the best result. They were very pleased with the outcome themselves as well as Sheldon. We can strongly recommend Sheldon for any architectural project, and trust his professional skills and honest work.
