Yard and Sea is the perfect venue for any special event. We celebrated our wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect! Jay was very responsive on email and text message for all my questions along the way including walk throughs, vendor recommendations, and additional add ons to help elevate our event. The open space concept allows you to bring your ideas to reality!! What makes this space stand out compared to all others is the budget is created around each event not a food and beverage minimum. I could not recommend this event space and team enough for your future events :) Thank you Jay for an amazing experience and an unforgettable wedding reception!

Yard & Sea was the absolute perfect venue for our twin boys’ Bnei Mitzvah! From the stunning coastal-chic vibe to the seamless indoor-outdoor flow, everything felt elegant, relaxed, and full of ruach. The flexible space worked beautifully for our ceremony, energetic reception, and fun lounge areas. The staff was great. Professional, warm, and making the entire day run flawlessly so we could just soak in the joy. Located just blocks from the beach in Pacific Beach, the venue delivered that breezy SoCal magic our family and guests loved. If you’re celebrating a milestone, especially a Bar/Bat Mitzvah, choose Yard & Sea. Highly, highly recommended.

From the first conversation to the final moment, everything was dialed in. Communication was tight, execution was flawless, and the entire team actually gave a damn—which is rare. They didn’t just host an event… they owned it. Professional, organized, and they made the whole experience feel effortless on a day that could’ve easily been chaos. I am so sorry this took so long to get around to writing, but LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT YARD & SEA!!!! This was the best event space and team EVER!!! Jason and his team made everything so easy, from planning, meetings, help with vendors, staff over seeing the event, setup/take down and fulfilling all of our needs even before we asked or before we knew we needed it. What ever we imagined, Jason and his team worked tirelessly to make it a reality and exceeded our expectations far beyond what we expected. The communication was excellent and all needs were constantly met throughout planning process and event. Even after the event they still made sure that we were taken care of and satisfied with the way things turned out.Jason and his team helped create a core memory not only for my son's high school graduation, but for a lifetime. Thank you Jason, Andrea, Quinn and the rest of the team for making such a beautiful memory for our family and friends. Can't wait to work together again. For any events I plan in the future, I will always check with Yard & Sea first.

We had our wedding here, and I can't tell you enough how glad we are that we did. We went to visit Jay 8 months before the big day, just to get a feel of the place, and we instantly connected with him. It can seem kind of odd to have your wedding/event at a gym, but he really is a master at transforming the space to whatever you need it to be. Jay also helped facilitate bar and food service, both which were affordable and great. For the price we paid, I feel this experience exceeded our expectations. Jay also helped decorate the venue, and make it look like the dream wedding we've always wanted. I would highly recommend going through is vendors, as he helps take care of all the planning and payments and, coordinating for them. He also is very flexible, as on the day before, we were still able to add an additional vendor to the premises. He's a great event planner that offers affordable packages for your big day, and I'd highly recommend going with him. We couldn't be any happier with our wedding, and have him to thank for helping run this event as smooth as possible.
