It’s very classic diner. Food is decent, nothing out of this world but a lot of variety. Waiters always treat you very well and you don’t have to wait a lot of time for your food.

I love that this diner is open 24 hours, I wish I lived closer to it. Their burgers are delicious, even the beyond burgers are amazing! Their onion rings are crispy and go great along with their strawberry milkshake that seems to be made with real strawberries :) I have returned multiple times. Best diner in LA! Staff is very friendly ( Fun Fact: The music video for the song “Señorita” - by Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello was filmed there!)

This place was amazing! I’ve been living near this neighborhood for over three years, pushing three. But I rarely come to Los Feliz or Silverlake, so I’ve never seen Astro. Or if I did I wasn’t paying attention. Shout out to Miles Bohn for his YT video featuring Astro because I found such an amazing spot that I will definitely be back to. It’s exactly what you expect when you go to a diner. And the service was SOOO good. I’ve never had such good service in my entire life. Also seeing the older regulars come and go made me so happy. I’m from the Midwest so it felt like home.

Well that was delicious! If you're looking for that classic family diner experience, you can't go wrong with Astro. I love the warm retro design that makes the restaurant feel. Open and inviting. The coffee is good, the orange juice is decent. What I ordered was the Eggs Benedict, and that was actually done well! The ham was thick and hearty, the Hollandaise sauce is good too. And for the service, they're so friendly here!

I love old-fashioned establishments like Astro Family Restaurant that are open 24 hours, as this place has a very relaxing atmosphere with cozy low-key vibes inside. I also liked the fact that they serve breakfast all day. Their food is indeed the cherry on top with it being as good as it looks & served in generous portion sizes too! The staff were very friendly & checked on me regularly. Astro hits it out of the ballpark & is definitely worth a check-in whenever you’re visiting the big-time city of Los Angeles. I will certainly be returning back for more delicious comfort food & grub! There needs to be a lot more diners like Astro, where simplicity & a great old-school dine-in experience are at its core.
