For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. On most of those days it is open 5 pm–1 am. Note that it does not open on Tuesday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach AziziBBQ at (747) 774-6277; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.6 out of 5 on Google across 62 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded restaurants in Los Angeles.
Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We had such a good experience here! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. You can smell the grilled meat while they’re cooking, which makes you hungry before you even order 😄 Everything we tried was great. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Incredible, authentic halal food cart located on the strip of halal food carts bordered by Figueroa and Sunset (outside the Orsini apartments). My go-to order is always the mixed chicken and beef shawarma, which are always prepared fresh and absolutely massive (see photo - it’s legitimately nearly the length of my forearm, from fingertips to elbow). These row of food carts are generally open from 5pm-midnight. FYI, I’ve been here twice in a week already and don’t plan on stopping. Ig: @dawntc

There are about 4 other food truck spots in the area but this one is by far the best in my opinion. It is located on Figueroa just under the highway bridge. They have several tables there if you can find a spot then have a seat and enjoy. Plenty of different flavor kebabs as well as bone in wings if you like and lots of meat per order. The shawarma wrap which is well about 16 inches long when wrapped is 13 bucks. Simply can’t be beat. They also have marinated veggies and mushrooms if you want that on a wrap as well. It can seem a bit chaotic because it gets suuuuuuper busy there but just speak to someone place your order and wait as they cook every Kebab fresh…. And yes you can form a second line on the street if the curbside is full as long as you keep hazards on. My order took about 20 minutes but well worth the wait.
