We were referred to B Street Vet by our dear friend Billy D and we couldn't be more thankful, our little 14 year old Pug Miyoko had a herniated disk and it was causing her great pain & discomfort, B Street Vet were the most compassionate vet we've experienced over the passed 24 years of being pet owners. They helped her get through the night but unfortunately she took a turn for the worst and we had to say goodbye to her yesterday. Thank you for all your compassion & care and treating our little girl as the sentient being she deserves and not a financial opportunity at the expense of grieving pet owners.

went here on a sunday because i looked up affordable emergency vet after my dog ate some trash and couldn’t keep anything down. this was the closest one open with great reviews. all the reception people were so nice it felt so welcoming and comfortable. super easy process as a first time customer. the wait was obviously long but can be expected with any emergency vet especially on a weekend. they were super informative and upfront about pricing, i’ve never been to an emergency vet before so i can’t speak on how accurate the affordability is. my pup seemed super comfortable after, for sure recommend and might just make this my regular vet myself :)

Beond grateful for Dr.V and her staff. Heartfelt Thanks for jumping in without hesitation and preforming life saving emergency surgery on my beloved Olivia. We are from Arizona and were faced with unforseen medical emergency with our doggie. While another emergency vet clinic try to take advantage of us, Dr. V and her staff truly cared about getting Olivia better from the moment we came in. Recommended by locals, this place is truly the Diamond Vet care in Sand Diego.

We were referred to this veterinary clinic after a difficult experience in La Jolla, and I am so incredibly grateful we found them. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel supported, cared for, and truly understood. Yes, there can be a wait—but I would wait as long as it takes, because I know my puppies are in the best hands. The level of care and compassion here is unmatched. We came here trying to help our brown puppy who was born with a cleft palate, and although we sadly lost him, the love and support we received meant everything. Not only from the staff, but even from other pet parents in the room—it felt like being surrounded by family during one of the hardest moments we’ve experienced. Thank you for treating our babies like your own and for creating a space where people and their pets feel safe, supported, and cared for. We will always be grateful.

Had a super stressful couple of days before the new year because my boy got into some lilies. I was extremely stressed out since this was the first time I've managed to bring him to the vet and it was for an emergency. However, the staff was always really nice, especially Dr.MC who took over his care. He made sure to call me and check in while my cat was staying for the day, as well as keeping me updated on his overall condition and plan. While the first day was the most stressful (and they were so kind to me while I was anxious and crying), they did a lot to quell my nerves and let me know what was going on and what he needed to get done. Overall, even though it was stress-inducing for both my little guy and me, I'm glad the B street team was there to help us through this! Some small cons to keep in mind is because they're one of the few places that take emergency walk-ins is that you'll probably be waiting for a long time. Each day just to bring him in, get his labs, and check-in with the Doctor to look at his results took about 4hrs. They operate via severity of cases so if it's just a re-check (like I was doing the last two days) it'll probably take a while to be seen, so just
