Lakewood is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Lakewood follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

This was one of the best steakhouse experiences I had during my trip. I ordered a steak, a baked potato, and a salad, and everything was cooked and prepared exactly as it should be. The steak was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, with a perfect sear on the outside while remaining beautifully cooked inside. You can tell they use high-quality beef and know how to treat it with respect. The baked potato was excellent as well—fluffy on the inside, with a nicely crisp skin and generous toppings. It paired perfectly with the steak. The salad was fresh, crisp, and well-balanced, making it a great complement to the meal rather than just an afterthought. The service was friendly, attentive, and professional without being intrusive. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, making it a great place whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply looking for a satisfying dinner. What I appreciated most was the consistency of the entire experience. Every part of the meal met a high standard, from the quality of the ingredients to the cooking and presentation. It’s easy to see why this place has built such a strong reputation. If you’re looking for a classic American steakhouse with

My caesar salad had the worst pieces of romaine lettuce in it, like literal rabbit food. Our server was really nice but the food made the experience really bad. I had eaten very little of my salad bc the lettuce was all rusty-looking! I addressed with the manager but all she did was apologize and asked if she could take the plate of rusty lettuce with her. Then, I didn’t see her anymore. My steak got cold bc I was too busy picking out the bad pieces of my salad. Ended up with very little salad bc of the pieces were rusty. I would go back, only for the bread & zucchini, but that’s about it.

Terrible experience at Black Angus today. We had a reservation but still waited 20 minutes for a table. My brothers were roasting in the hot restaurant, the food took a long time to come out and they even completely forgot to bring out an entree. My older brother sat for almost 20 minutes watching all of us finish our food with nothing in front of him. My chicken sandwich was soggy and not very tasty. Hats off to our waiter for trying to keep it together. He couldn’t make up for what seemed to be a disorganized kitchen and management that couldn’t be bothered by our experience. We had to ask for an apology that was not sincerely given. Going to Black Angus used to be a treat: now, it’s just another overpriced chain restaurant.

It was pretty good but then I realized I got food poisoning less than an jour after leaving 😭 Calamari, prime rib, lobster tails, green beans, or au gratin potatoes - one of you is evil x.x Aside from the food poisoning - it was quite nice. I was seated quickly and the waiter was very attentive!
