Scheduling was effortless, and the team was responsive and helpful right from the start — sharing references and answering my initial questions in a way that gave me real confidence before I even stepped in. When I visited, the owner (Cesar) was welcoming, took the time to listen to my idea in detail, and introduced me to the artist (Scarlett) who would be bringing it to life. What truly stood out was the flexibility and genuine care the team showed. My artist had to start her day before the shop opened just to accommodate my schedule — that kind of commitment is rare and says everything about their professionalism. They also prepared me thoroughly with pre-session instructions, which made a real difference. On the day of the session, my artist came ready with multiple design variations. Recently moved to LA and wanted a very important chest piece done. The tattoo was beyond what I expected in quality and detail. Cesar is a master of his craft and he is a great human being as well. The studio itself has so much passion and love put into the decor. I am beyond glad that I chose to go to Black Tower for this chest piece and I will 100% be returning in the future for future projects. If I could, I would give this shop more than five stars.

I love this place, I think they’re definitely going to be my go to. I went for their Friday the 13th flash sheets, and wow! They had so many options, and reasonably priced! They all have amazing customer service and are all very sweet. Shout out to Scarlett! She does amazing art work and has a delicate hand on the machine, didn’t even feel my tattoo and she was as excited as I was for the tattoo! Definitely recommend her! Bonus: they have a very cool gift shop.

They were amazing! They answered all my questions, were very attentive throughout the whole process, and made me feel comfortable. The work came out incredible I absolutely love my tattoo! Highly recommend.

I’ve gotten 3 tattoos here and they’re all amazing, I constantly get compliments on them. I go to Mario and he does great work. They are also very knowledgable about how to take care of my tattoos afterward. I’m really impressed by how seriously the shop takes covid. Even in mid 2022 they take my temperature at the shop and everyone wears masks, even though most businesses have fallen off. Regardless of how seriously you personally take covid, this is a huge, positive green flag for their sanitation practices.
