Hats off to the impeccable bar service! Everything quick and the bartender was extremely attentive! Now on to the food. Brisket: 3.5/5. It was nice. But just 1 piece of meat which is sad. I’d get it again. Hot Link: 3/5. Decent. Spicy. Pork Ribs: 2.5/5. I’ve had ribs from tons of places and these are just too tough! They’re not fall off the bone. They’re kind of tender but for the most part, they’re dry. Sad because ribs are my fav bbq Mac and Cheese: 5/5. Easily the best of the bunch. Perfection. The star of the show Baked Beans with brisket: 3.5/5. Solid. All in all. Decent fare. Nothing to write home about. The bbq could definitely be more tender and juicy.

Bludso’s BBQ was hands down some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the place had such a fun and welcoming atmosphere. The smell of the smoked meats alone lets you know you’re about to have an amazing meal. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly with that real authentic BBQ flavor that is hard to find nowadays. The brisket was absolutely incredible — tender, juicy, and packed with smoky flavor without being dry at all. You could literally pull it apart with a fork. The ribs were just as good, perfectly seasoned with meat falling right off the bone. The pulled pork was flavorful and moist, and the sausage had the perfect amount of spice and snap to it. You can tell they really know what they’re doing when it comes to BBQ. The sides were also amazing and not just an afterthought like at a lot of BBQ places. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, the baked beans had so much flavor, and the cornbread was soft, warm, and delicious. Everything came out hot and fresh. The customer service was excellent too. Been wanting to try this place for a long time. Happy that I finally made it. The food was so good. I had the brisket, mac and cheese, baked beans and potato salad. Everything was really good except the potato salad it wasn’t my cup of tea but those baked beans were SLAMMING! Omg I wish I would have gotten a bigger portion. The brisket was also so tender and flavorful. Our host because we did take out was Issac he told me he had only been there 3 weeks but he was so good! Great recommendation and had a lot of patience with all my questions. He was really sweet. If you are in the area check out Bludso BBQ

The pork ribs were dry with this order. They used to just fall off the bone, but these were so dry that even the BBQ sauce couldn't fix them. The brisket was the only thing that was still somewhat good. The mac and cheese and greens were just alright. If I hadn't experienced how incredible Bludso's used to be, this would easily be a one-star rating. It's a bummer to see such a drop in quality from what was once truly exceptional BBQ.

I feel weird giving out so many 5 star reviews, but I do my homework and take the recommendations of reviewers. In this case, I've seen Kevin Bludso's place on TV a couple times as well. Absolutely marvelous BBQ. The smoke doesn't overpower the meat flavor, very juicy. I had a brisket and hot link sandwich, she had the BBQ chicken salad. Nothing left on either plate. I had greens and mac and cheese for my sides. Both very good. Fabulous food. The server was great as well. Shiner Bock on tap!
