About Bombay Coast Indian Cuisine

CHEF ZUBIN' S INDIAN COOKBOOK FINDING BOMBAY AVAILABLE IN THE RESTAURANT AND ON AMAZON.

Located at 4705 Clairemont Dr g, San Diego, CA 92117, Bombay Coast Indian Cuisine operates as an indian restaurant serving San Diego in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Google also lists it under indian takeaway, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (858) 270-0309. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is bombaycoast.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 537 reviews, which is a strong result for an indian restaurant in San Diego and suggests consistent service.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in San Diego peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Food was delicious, service was great, I’ll be back! I got the lunch special with chicken yellow curry, chicken tikka masala, mango chicken masala w/ naan, as well as a mango lassi. Around $23 for all that, was enough for lunch and saved some for a light dinner.

I had an exceptional dining experience at Bombay Coast. The food was outstanding, especially the Shrimp Patia β€” perfectly balanced, rich in flavor, and prepared with incredible authenticity. Every bite was a reminder of how good coastal Indian cuisine can truly be. A special mention goes to Mr. Zubin, the warm and gracious host and chef. His hospitality made the experience even better. He took the time to check on us, share the story behind the dish, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Highly recommend Bombay Coast for anyone looking for amazing food and heartfelt service. I’ll definitely be returning!
