San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My daughter and I stopped for dinner on our San Diego vacation. We could not possibly have loved this restaurant any more. The food was absolutely delicious, all the staff was kind and wonderful, and the atmosphere was great! It was quite busy, but the service did not suffer at all. We can't wait to come again on our next visit!! Hands down the best Mexican food we've ever had!

Casa Guadalajara presents a colorful and clean environment with lots of comfortable seating. A fantastic touch to the ambiance is the visible La Tortilleria station, where you can watch the cooks making fresh tortillas for the dining room. The space also features a well-stocked bar with a wide selection of tequilas and cocktails. A convenience for logistics is the dedicated free parking lot. THE FOOD 🌮 Grilled Fish Tacos: The grilled pescado blanco was excellent. Served with a great crust, the fish was flaky, juicy, and delicious. 🍟 Kids’ Fish and Chips: The surprise dish of the meal. This was an outstanding value, featuring deep-fried white fish that arrived hot and juicy. 🦐 Camarones à la Diabla: Nicely sized shrimp were coated in a rich chipotle salsa. The spice built in the background with each bite. Quite a flavorful dish! 🧀 Carne Asada Nachos Supreme: A generously large serving of chips loaded with the standard, hearty complement of beans, cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, and salsa. 🍤 Mexican Shrimp Cocktail: Served chilled with fresh avocados, cucumbers, celery, and onion, making it a very refreshing dish. However, the mild cocktail sauce leaned a bit too sweet for my per

4-4.5 stars. Classic authentic Mexican food in a wonderful serene patio or comfortable inside. Can't go wrong here with anything, but my favorites are the the chimmichanga, the taco and enchilada combo and the lime shrimp house special. Love the chips and salsa, and the margaritas are better when you ask to not use syrup. Super friendly staff, wonderful environment for small and large groups. Free parking lot which is nice! They do get busy at lunch and dinner but if you're there before 6 these super cute artisan shops are right next door to peruse Mexican and other crafts. Definitely check it out! Oh and save room for sopapillas. They are delicious!

This charming Mexican gem is a feast for both the eyes and the soul. Nestled near Old Town, it boasts a gorgeous indoor space with rustic charm and a cozy outdoor patio brimming with colorful lanterns. It has a beautiful indoor and outdoor dining spaces, full of charm. The atmosphere was absolutely delightful. In my experience, the food was a standout! The food is a celebration on a plate; vibrant flavors, fresh ingredients, and every bite tells a story. We had a group of eight, some plates were delicious and others were really good. The staff are absolutely delightful; they’re friendly, attentive, and bursting with personality. I’ll be back for more, this place was perfect for drinks and good food! I absolutely loved my visit to Casa Guadalajara! If you’re near Old Town, give it a try.

The restaurant ambience was really nice. Gives authentic mexican vibe. In the heart of Old Town Historic District. Chicken Quesadilla was awesome. I didn’t like the chicken in poblano sauce though. Mexican rice flavour was really nice. Behavior of staff was not that friendly. So not happy with the service part.
