About Clark Street Diner

Clark Street Diner opened in Hollywood in 2021. It is a retro vibe with classic diner booths, a long counter and mid-century decor. It serves diner staples like blueberry pancakes, hash browns, french toast and club sandwich w/ fries.

Located at 6145 Franklin Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90068, Clark Street Diner operates as a restaurant serving Los Angeles in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

For a place to eat or drink, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open now, how long is the wait at peak hours, and does the menu suit the group you are bringing. American restaurants typically run lunch and dinner services with a quieter stretch in between, coffee shops open early, and many kitchens close earlier on Sunday. Cards and tap-to-pay are accepted almost everywhere, a tip of 15-20% is customary for table service, and sales tax is added at the register.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Clark Street Diner at (323) 450-9149; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is clarkstreetdiner.la, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 944 reviews, which is a strong result for a restaurant in Los Angeles and suggests consistent service.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Amazing food, but definitely on the pricier side! 4 stars. We came here for breakfast because our hotel recommended it. The pancakes were good, but the chicken and waffles were absolutely exceptional—easily the highlight of the meal! The service was good and the place has a very nice diner vibe. However, the prices are very high, even though that's probably just standard for Los Angeles. If it were a bit cheaper, it would have been a solid 5 stars!

Nice place. Food was good however server wasn’t attentive enough for me. Then we asked for extra syrup waiter brings it over. We get the bill $5 for the 2 things of syrup never I have I ever LOL. Then there was a charge on bill that said kitchen appreciation so I asked the waiter since I haven’t seen that before on a bill is that the gratuity? He says no it’s just something for the cook 🤔🤔 then says he can take it off if I like. Overall I would go back when I’m in the area but it wouldn’t be my first pick.

Our poor server forgot to put in our food order, so she brought us a chocolate croissant and a slice of carrot cake! The cake was delicious! Their pancakes are the best thing here in my experience. I did not like their hollandaise sauce unfortunately, but I love this diner, its vibe, the service and the nostalgia. You can ofc see the Hollywood sign from here and parking isn’t too bad. I went for my birthday and they were so sweet! This is a neighborhood go-to for a reason.

This iconic LA diner is so delicious in every bite. Came almost two days in a row. Ordered corned beef has, tuna melt, chicken & waffles (but they ran out of waffles so asked for blueberry pancakes instead and gave 3 huge pancakes), and my favorite- Vegetable Omelet. And on the weekend, I bought a whole sourdough to take home. Their bake goods are so good as I heard the diner started as a bakery first. About 30min wait on a Saturday brunch.

This is the definition of a diner! Hands down the best diner in LA. They have all the classics plus minus the grease. They take pride in the food they serve, everything is high quality and taste amazing. My favorite is the breakfast sandwich with is packed with the most luscious greens, heirloom tomatoes, crispy bacon with perfect runny eggs with their sourdough and secret sauce. Servers are so welcoming and helpful when picking out your breakfast of choice. They are quick and always working hard to get you seated as soon as possible. The cafe decor is the classic diner aesthetic with amazing coffee and mimosas to take it over the top. Come hungry and leave fully satisfied
