Went to get travel health certificates for my two cats. Janel helped us out and she was very responsive. This process has been stressful but she was always very reassuring. On the day of the appointment, we were able to go through a separate cat door (helped with my stressed cats). We had our own exam room and everything went very smoothly. I definitely recommend this veterinary hospital to help you with pet travel certificate services. Many of the places I called did not offer the services or took very long to respond. They were very knowledgeable with the process of traveling with pets and recommended me many products to help ensure a safe and stressless travel.(added a picture of the kitties :D)

✨International Health Certificate for Travel✨ This review is specifically for Janel who helped me and Roxy get our international health certificate for our international trip to Guatemala. I feel so lucky I’ve been going to CoastView for years and that Janel and her team also do the health certificates here. Our experience was truly as easy as could be and communication was excellent. I am traveling more frequently now and will be coming here every time no question. It’s so worth it to have peace of mind and someone who specializes in these exams and certificates for all international travel with your pet. And she treated us with such warmth and kindness that made us feel so good. Thanks again, Janel and team!

I moved back to SD and needed to find a caring vet for my Meg. Through Google I found CoastView and thanks to all the positive reviews, decided to give them a try. I've only taken Meg to the office twice, but so far I can tell you that everyone we have interacted with is extremely professional, friendly and compassionate. They actually took the time to read the chart from her previous vet, so they already knew a lot of information on her first visit. They really do care about your pet's comfort and their level of anxiety during visits. Meg is a chihuahua, so stress and anxiety are hardwired into her, but she tolerates her appointments because she gets cream cheese on a stick. That is one of the greatest things she's ever experienced while getting her nails done and her blood drawn. Star, Laura, Leanne, and Dr. Gowda are all terrific and I can't recommend their care enough. If you need to find a place to have your pet cared for, look no further. PS We're coming from Orange County, where vet prices are astronomical. Anyone saying this place is overpriced is incorrect.

CoastView is unlike any vet I’ve experienced in the best way possible. The staff is wonderful and so genuinely caring. They listen and hear everything you say about your pet and curate the best possible experience for an anxious dog. I have so much confidence in everything they do and every process they have established. They are also extremely accommodating and are able to get you in in a timely manner, despite all of the extra accommodations they make for their patients. It’s the best of all the worlds! I would rate them 10 stars if I could.

The best vet practice in San Diego. All the staff has been amazing. We have a bully breed dog who is really fearful of the vet and we have been trying to work through that for years at other practices. Our trainer recommended coastview and it has been a great experience. They allow happy visits and actually try to work through the fearful issues our dog has. We just had his first actual check up and they worked on a sedation package that worked for him and it was the smoothest annual checkup we have ever had. We have a plan to keep building trust through happy visits and hopefully get him off sedation in the long term. Highly recommend this place!
