Del Mar Social in San Diego is one of my favorite places. It is absolutely beautiful, and every room has its own unique vibe. There is so much attention to detail in the decor, and it really makes you feel like you stepped into a different world where you can disconnect and just enjoy the experience. The food is amazing. The Mediterranean salads and shawarma were so, so good, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. Eyal, the owner, was wonderful and made sure everything was great. You can really feel the care behind the place, from the atmosphere to the service to the food. Highly recommend.

Where do I even begin? We had to find a last minute venue to host our 100 person wedding after ours was cancelled in Puerto Vallarta. We booked Del Mar Social on Tuesday 2/24 and had our wedding that same week on Saturday, 2/28. Audrey was an absolute dream to work with- extremely responsive to any questions we had, super accommodating with everything we needed, and she went above and beyond to decorate the outdoor space to have our ceremony. I still don’t know how she did it, but she made it happen for us! The event space is large, the team did an amazing job, and everyone raved about the food. If you’re looking for a space for a wedding or any event, 100/10 would recommend to anyone.

We hosted our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah at Del Mar Social last weekend. It was a terrific event and we are SO thrilled that we chose DMS for the venue! Audrey was great to work with, they were very flexible (we could bring in rental furniture, we could bring in an outside dessert vendor), the price was fair and they assisted with some decor needs as well. Picture was of some of the appetizers. Our guests (who appreciate great food) all said the food was outstanding and one friend was even asking the owner if he’d provide catering food for an event at their house. Also, must be located in a great area. After our event, my daughter inadvertently left my designer purse filled with cash, checks, gift cards and other sentimental items and a second bag in their parking lot at 10:45pm. We didn’t realize for 36 hours and went back to find the bags safely stored under a tent in their parking lot. I assume perhaps a worker, or someone else in the area, came across the bags, which had been left in the back of the parking lot, when DMS was closed so they stored them there for us to find. Can't say enough good things about Del Mar Social! We held our annual Awards event there and I've heard rave reviews from all our guests. This was our 21st year holding this event and I'm pretty confident it may have been our best one yet. Audrey, the event manager and owner, was a pleasure to work with. Very communicative, helpful, available, responsive, and understanding in dealing with some last minute adjustments on our end. We had a little over 100 people in attendance and the space was more than enough for what we needed! Great cocktail hour area, outdoor area, and perfect set up for dinner. Food was amazing (we did the Mediterranean option) - fresh, well prepared, and delicious. Bartenders (Ben) were super helpful in not only managing the bar & pouring drinks but in setting up some last minute tables and moving things around for our guests. Super affordable, amazing vibe (especially around sunset), clean and the back room with the TV is a great area to hold for VIPs or just take a breather during the event. We had an amazing experience at Del Mar Social. It is such a great space by having the outside space as well as the big room inside with an additional room in the back. Audrey was able to work with our budget and find the right catering option. Their Mediterranean food was absolutely delicious and all our guests enjoyed it. Easy parking and just such a great atmosphere. Highly recommend this place for your events.
