I've gone here a few times when I'm in a bit of a rush and don't have time to make my way over to the bigger box stores. This place is never crowded and the staff are always friendly and eager to help. They have a pretty decent selection for a smaller hardware store. My most recent trip was for a furniture resurfacing project and they had all the items I needed including different brushes stains and the finishing layer. The nice staff member helped me pick out brushes that are more appropriate to my tasks. I would come here again.

I wanted to have a key duplicated for my roommate, but on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at 6:40 PM, the employee working in that section informed me that he could not assist me and would not sell me anything in the store even for a key! Without offering any explanation, and acting solely on his own whim, he forced me to leave the premises. !Please do not employ such low-caliber individuals in companies like yours!

They always provide excellent customer service and are able to get you what you need within minutes of walking here. I’ve been here about 20 times and never had a bad experience.

I went in to look at their acrylic paint options and to see if they had any pouring medium. The gentle man that helped me was informative and told me they didn’t carry the pouring medium and then asked what else was on my list, and I said that’s about it. So I go about just walking around the store seeing if there is anything I may actually need to get for my house, and need I mention I walked in with my back pack and my hand tote. And as I’m going isle to isle, which I got down two isles as the gentleman who was helping me paces pass my isle more than I feel like was necessary, and as I was getting ready to walk to the next isle he comes walking pass me and says in a way that made me feel like they thought I was going to shop lift, “you can keep your bags at the front.” I responded with a, “ oh okay.” As I look around and notice other staff members just standing there acting as if all of them weren’t watching my every move. So I walked out feeling nothing but rude energy from them. Last time I shop at this location. If you want better customer service and friendlier staff, I suggest the hillcrest location.

I’ve been shopping at this ACE Hardware store for about a year, and every visit has been a great experience. The staff are consistently friendly, approachable, and highly knowledgeable across all departments. Whenever I’ve had a question or needed help finding the right part, someone has always been ready to assist with clear, practical advice. It’s rare to find this level of service and expertise in a hardware store. Highly recommended for both DIYers and professionals.
