They were pretty helpful i ending up buying a very quiet click type torque wrench in lb with very minimal feedback until you go way past the torque specification so I broke an expensive part they couldn't return the tool for money sadly but they offered to exchange or give store credit so I just purchased a new part and am gonna try with a better digital tool wish me luck 🀞

This store is AWESOME! Everyone was so helpful. Shout out to Joy who checked me out. Their staff are knowledgable and friendly. I love my new tree trimmer. The prices beat Home Depot and Lowes. This is my new favorite store for buying tools for the home. Dumb name but great store!!!

Worst customer service! Do not buy anything here. Bought a faulty hand truck yesterday. Tried to use it once and it fell apart within 5 min. I brought it in the next day with receipt and original packaging. Enrique was rude right off the bat and refused to return it because I β€œopened it”. He said no other harbor freight would take it back in San Diego either even though the store policy on the website said I could return it for a full refund. I drove to the next closest harbor freight and they returned it right away, apologized for the faulty product, and gave me a full refund. Mean rude people that don’t follow store policy.

Terrible Customer Service from manager Juan – Refused a Return on a Defective Product I purchased a gas-powered auger, but it was defective and wouldn't start out of the box, despite following the instructions carefully. When I brought it back the very next day to return it, the store manager, Juan, refused to accept the return. He claimed the product had been used because there was dirt on the frame. The dirt was simply from me setting the auger on the ground in my yard to attempt to start the engine. The machine has never been used, and it literally cannot be used because it doesn't work. I am now stuck with a broken, brand-new machine and zero customer support. Unfair and incredibly disappointing.

NO RETURN POLICY. Just got to Home Depot where you actually get quality and helpful policy/employees. when I bought an item at this location I was never once at check out told that I had to keep the paper receipt (it’s 2026 and nobody does) and was only asked to pay for the membership. Membership to buy tools? When trying to return my item which was a week after purchase in the exact original box never used, I was refused with zero help. No store credit, no restocking fee, NOTHING. As the owner of a construction company I’m happy to say I’ll never buy at harbor freight again. Not only is the quality sub par on everything, the no return policy is ridiculous. If that’s the policy, you need to be informed at checkout, not sold a bogus membership. Shame on this location and I’m glad a $40 item lost you not only me but an entire network of business.
