dr.ink is such a hidden gem in the heart of downtown san jose, literally right across from san pedro sqaure market! the staff were super welcoming and genuinely took the time to recommend drinks based on what we liked. they also explained how each drink is crafted and what their specialties are, which made the experience feel way more personal and fun. the atmosphere is cozy, calm, and perfect if you need a quiet study spot, want to get work done, or just catch up with friends over coffee. the drinks were amazing and you can tell they really care about quality here. definitely recommend checking this spot out if you’re in downtown sj!

It is in such a perfect location! The interior is a perfect hangout to chat with a friend or to focus on work. I have tried two drinks so far; the sesame latte, and the rosee latte. I loved the sesame flavor, but the coffee itself was a little too strong for me, which I now know for next time I can ask for it to be it a little sweeter — which I will be doing. Today I tried the rose latte and it was so perfect. It’s probably one of the best rose latte I’ve ever had. This will probably be my go to spot moving forward :) Staff are nice.

Traditionell Coffee. Not special. Barister clueless: he said "fruity" but they use a dark onyx. The space does aim to be a nice coffee place. They serve Onyx. Good start! But they will need to work on bean variety and barista skill.

Consistently delivering great drinks. This place is known for its exceptional cold foams and cream tops. However, don’t miss out on the delicious sparkling drinks. Today, we went for the Black Sesame Latte and the Pineapple Passion. The Black Sesame Latte is not very sweet, and there is a perfect balance of flavors between the black sesame and espresso. As for the Pineapple Passion, also light sweetness, which I like. Very refreshing drink and I could taste the freshness of the homemade pineapple passion fruit purée.

Cute place to do work, a couple of tables/seats and the service was good and fast! I do agree with others who said that $7 for a drink that is fairly small is a bit expensive. However I do appreciate that they have cool fun flavors. Also be mindful that theres not a lot of outlets if you are there to do work.
