Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We had a great experience at Electric Karma Indian Restaurant. The papdi chaat, OG curry, and dal were all delicious and full of flavor. The service was top notch, and we really appreciated that they still considered our order even though we arrived close to closing time. Overall, it was a very enjoyable visit and we would gladly come back again.

If you're looking for authentic Indian dhaba-style food in West Hollywood, Electric Karma is a must-visit. The flavors are rich, traditional, and reminiscent of home-cooked North Indian food—a taste that's genuinely hard to find elsewhere. We highly recommend the baingan bharta, dal tadka (mixed lentil), and mixed vegetable raita. Every dish was flavorful and comforting. We were also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary salad plate that included pickled onions, green chilies, and lemon slices, which added a nice traditional touch to the meal. The tandoori rotis were served fresh and hot, with an aromatic, wholesome flavor that tasted like they were made from multigrain flour. They paired perfectly with the curries. A special mention to Chahat who is incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming. They took the time to understand our taste preferences, also him and Varsha ensured everything was served promptly, and made the entire dining experience enjoyable. Overall, delicious food, excellent hospitality, and a truly comforting dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Good was amazingly delicious! Best part they ask you spice levels, including no spicy. Which is great. I have a place my son can come and eat. Lamb was cooked to perfection, tender, melted in my mouth. I order the Nirvana sauce with lamb. The Mango Lassi, Drink amazing. My son will also love the mango drink. Aisha was an amazing waitress, person to talk to and know a bit of the history of the restaurant… I came during lunch.

This place is an absolute GEM✨they have amazing food, absolutely everything was a 10/10. Samosas were incredible the curry is so flavorful so indescribably good. You really just have to come try it. Get the platter for 2 if u come on a date like I did. Was well worth the money and they gave me accommodations to swap out anything I wanted. Versha an Aisha were also incredible hosts they forever have me and girlfriends hearts. They are beautiful nice people and made us feel so welcomed. Please if u are in the area come try this place they are THE BOMB!💫

Electric Karma is easily some of the best vegan Indian food you’ll find in West Hollywood. The flavors here are beyond sensational — rich, layered, and beautifully spiced without being overwhelming. We started with the samosas and let me just say… they gave exactly what a samosa is supposed to give. Perfectly crisp on the outside, warm and comforting on the inside with potatoes, peas, and spices that felt balanced and intentional. So good. The bhel puri was such a pleasant surprise — I had never tried it before. The combination of puffed rice, potatoes, onions, and chutneys created this light but flavorful texture moment that I absolutely loved. And if you love carbs like I do? You’re going to be happy here. We also experienced the “Tree Hugger” (Karma for 2) platter and it’s honestly the perfect dinner to celebrate anything — date night, birthday, or just life. A beautiful spread of saag tofu, chana masala, vegetables, rice, and naan. Everything was fresh, vibrant, and deeply satisfying. Beyond the food, the hospitality was warm and kind. The energy of the space feels vibrant and welcoming. Truly a special experience. Highly recommend.
