Carlos was amazing! I’m from out of town and he called me within 20 minutes after dropping truck off with estimate. I needed the truck by 5pm next day and he assured me he’d get it done even though he had to order parts and was swamped. To my complete surprise his crew completed the repair early and the truck drives like new again. I will definitely be using his shop again!

Great location in downtown San Diego, easy parking, very clean lot, office and garage. Excellent front desk it was Carlos: took an appointment attended on time taking all the details and upfront billing of the service of oil and filter change of my old Mercedes-Benz 450 SL. Upon my request Carlos showed me the sample of my old fluid as well as the old filter! Topped up some fluids and ready in an hour when I turned after my coffee nearby. I plan to return.

Crankshaft seal... I felt they were very honest and forth coming with the work that needed to be done. They handled the warranty and meditating getting the work and parts covered. I felt they were reasonably priced especially for the quality of work they performed. They were very honest about follow up care and maintenance that I would need to consider having done in the future. I feel that they were very understanding and not judgmental about the circumstances that proceeded the work to be done. And they went above and beyond to get the work done in a timely manner which was amazing. I would recommend them definitely if you want 5 star work from 5 star mechanics and to feel like you as a customer matter. Thank you guys!

Griffins really is the best. After purchasing a car from a used car dealership, I was pretty frustrated that some warning lights and the check engine light turned on after driving it fewer than 50 miles. Griffins had taken excellent care of my previous car, so I brought it there straight away. They did a thorough inspection, fixed the issue triggering the check engine light, and walked me through what other work needs to be done. I'll be bringing my car back so they do some other repairs in stages, and they were great at helping me prioritize what work to do first. They are always upfront and honest, they charge reasonable fees for the work they do, and they always do great work. I wouldn't bring my car anywhere else.

I came here today to get a coolant flush for my BMW E93. I had been experiencing overheating issues and had gotten a few fault codes on my OBD2 scanner relating to a possible blockage within the coolant system and possible pump failure. I asked them to do the flush. I received a phone call less than hour after leaving the shop. They told me that the engine cooling fans had switched on as soon as the engine was started, and that this was a really bad sign. They didn't give me any actual technical details but simply said that this was bad(which it is). I was already aware of this problem, as my OBD2 scanner had indicated that the coolant pump was being shutoff due to a blockage, which resulted in the car trying to cool itself as much as possible by running the fans at their full rpm. ​They didn't mention anything regarding the pump error codes at this point. Instead, they recommended a pressure test on my coolant system. I agreed knowing that it's a relatively simple and USUALLY inexpensive($80-100) procedure involving connecting a pump to the coolant reservoir and pumping the pressure up to the car's functioning coolant system PSI amount. This allows them to check for any leaks with
