Walked in with my electric scooter as I have multiple times before without any issues. It was turned off and has a basket in front I use for shopping. A woman up front with black hair and glasses claimed that it wasn't allowed and said they were the manager when I asked. Really odd since I've been there various times of the day and never been stopped or told this. If this is policy then all employees should be consistent on it. Very frustrating to be allowed to bring in and walk my scooter around with me on multiple occasions and then have it suddenly be an issue.

a great experience an item wouldn't go through with food stamps for some reason but the cashier fixed it in a flash! I hate being embarrassed at checkout and she kept it from happening. thank you grocery outlet for hiring great workers!!!

We were tourists shopping there for the first time, and I was carrying my 90-year-old mother's bags as I tried to enter the store. However, the cashier gave me instructions that suggested I couldn't enter with a backpack. (To be precise, she was chewing gum, so I couldn't quite understand what she was saying.) Reluctantly, I had my mother put on the backpack and asked her to wait outside. The cashier stopped complaining after that, so my understanding was correct. About 30 minutes later, I went back to the register, and the same cashier was there. The total amount was determined, and I tried to pay with my credit card, but the card reader terminal displayed an error message; it was broken. It was clear I couldn't pay with a credit card. The cashier was talking to another employee, but she didn't explain anything to me—whether she was going to use another working terminal or try to get me to pay with a credit card. Naturally, she didn't seem to have any intention of apologizing for the situation. Reluctantly, I paid with cash, which I didn't want to use, and I wasn't given any change. Well, just as I expected. Always interesting going here as you're not sure what new thing you'll find to try. Have discovered so many cool new products i don't see and wouldn't had otherwise found or tried, because at these prices it's not as wasteful if you don't like it lol. Especially love the Nosh products!!! These are our latest addiction

Some of the deals are hit or miss. When I went it was a hit. Mangoes for a buck, coconut water for under $2, and a blanket for under $15. They literally have everything possible. The staff are affable and like to joke around when they get comfortable. I interacted with a few transients who hang out nearby. Bought them a drink and some beauty products. The spot definitely made my vacation a lot less costly then going to the restaurants.
