Every single cashier at this store is completely rude every time I go there except maybe once or twice. They only have 4 kind cashiers and the rest are super rude and miserable. If you don’t like working with people don’t work in this field.

My absolute go to store, prices are way lower than anywhere else in the San Jose area with most of the essentials you need and other interesting finds. Although, I've noticed some issues regarding quality control that have gone unnoticed before, from bags of produce well past the expiration date to a bottle of cumin with a torn safety seal, and one small cockroach before. Staff are for the most part friendly, but one cashier named Taja has a particularly bad attitude that makes it uncomfortable to check out with her. While in no way harassing or outright aggressive, her tone makes it sound like you checking out with her is some giant burden, and i've seen her be incredibly rude and dismissive of a gentleman who was trying to process his recyclables with her. The only time I've ever seen her smile, however, was when she was discussing her personal life with a friend in line; she just makes being there worse. Overall, its a generally well-maintained store that fufills its promise of quality goods at affordable prices, but there is certainly gaps with quality control and customer service that need to be filled.

This GO is close to my job and I go in here pretty frequently. They have a good selection of plants here sometimes, and economical snack options with a great variety. The morning cashier in the wheelchair is very rude though, and I always brace myself when having to deal with him because he is off the charts impolite and manhandles your items.

I like this place. It had all I wanted and in good price points. Staff was helpful too for a few things I was not able to locate and for daily necessities this one is a good spot to go to. I also found Ashwagandha! here. Good collection of scented candles!

So the outside of the store; some people asking for money, walls are dirty, some unhoused folks sleeping against the building. On the inside, not too bad. It's a fairly small store but has the basics; refrigerated foods, frozen foods, small fruit & veg area, spices, snacks, canned goods, and two isles of home and health items. And yes, they sell liquor. Overall, not a bad store but the exterior needs improvement. Perhaps regular pressure washing etc. The staff are friendly, professional, and daytime manager, Dave, is very kind and professional. I had to return an item today. The return was easy and absolutely zero issues. Plenty of parking in a large parking lot in front of the store.
