Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely disappointing customer service. We were trapped at the parking exit for 30 minutes due to a broken system and a faulty intercom. Instead of doing their jobs, the staff's attitude was appalling. They blatantly ignored us, showed zero urgency, and actually had the audacity to blame us for the gate not opening. We were forced to walk back and forth to the store multiple times just to get someone to care. They promised security would come, but no one ever showed up. We only got out because we went back inside to complain yet again, and an employee finally dragged their feet to go open the gate. Being stuck in a parking lot for half an hour due to sheer staff incompetence and apathy is infuriating. Do better, H-Mart.

I was very disappointed by this parking policy. There is no clear sign at the entrance stating that parking is only free if your purchase is at least $30. The signs simply say that parking is free for one hour with a purchase, without mentioning any minimum spending requirement. Finding out afterward that a purchase under $30 does not qualify for free parking is frustrating and misleading. If this policy exists, it should be clearly displayed at the entrance and on all parking signs so customers can make an informed decision before parking. I’ve never experienced this at other stores, and I find this lack of transparency unacceptable. Customers deserve clear and honest information, especially when parking fees are involved. Because of this experience, I will think twice before returning and cannot recommend this location to others.

Check the expiration dates before you buy! I purchased tea bags here today that was "2 YEARS" past their expiration date. when I opened thr box, it had a terrible musty smell. It's hard to believe such old stock is still on the shelves. Management really needs to step up their inventory control. Save yourself the trouble and visit the Western location or other H Marts instead.

I bought this at H Mart LA City Center and it was expired since July 2025 (best before: July 10, 2025). This is foodβ€”how does something like that even make it to the register? Honestly, I don’t feel safe shopping here if expired items are still sitting on the shelves. And to top it off, the cashier’s customer service was cold and unprofessional. I’m not asking for a smile contestβ€”just basic courtesy. They really need to improve inventory/date checks and customer service, because this is how you lose customers fast.
