San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Jose follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I’ve been to Haiku Teahouse for so many times I honestly can’t even keep track anymore, but one thing is for sure, I’m a big fan here. Their drinks are super legit. There’s one I always recommend to my friends, which is the corn einspanner. You have to try it. It’s so good in a weirdly comforting way, like it fixes something in me every time I drink it. Maybe it’s because it tastes exactly like corn milk - the kind I used to have for breakfast back in Vietnam. I also really like their matcha. It’s strong, high quality, and honestly their cream foam is one of the best in the Bay Area. Super smooth and not too sweet. I’ve never had a bad drink here. Everything is consistent which is kind of rare these days. If you’re around, you really should check them out.

Really good. Ordered the hojicha latte with strawberry cream top (a seasonal special) and lactose free whole milk. All the milk options are lactose free with no extra charge. The drink had dried strawberry slices inside and also on top as a garnish. Cute and delicious. After 20% tip my total was $10.20. Walking distance from Safeway, where I parked. There are a few tables for two inside and were also a couple tables inside. On a Monday afternoon it wasn't busy but it wasn't dead either.

Tried this the first time in an office event, i liked the hojicha.. so i went to the location to try matcha. The matcha einspanner was bitter but tasted similar to Ume tea. I think i prefer ume teas flavour more. 100% sweetness was needed to counteract the bitterness. My friends tried the vietnamese coffee, while the cream topped ones were drinkable.. the iced version made my friend real sick. Cookie butter latte according to my other friend wasnt bad, the corn einspanner was meh at best Mixed feelings on this one, will need to get hojicha again to reevaluate this a third time

I tried the hojicha black sesame latte at Haiku and I am absolutely obsessed with it! The hojicha itself is really good and you can really taste the black sesame flavor (likely because they use a house made black sesame milk). At 25% sweetness, the drink is perfect to me. I was visiting San Jose and went to Haiku almost daily to get this drink. I will make sure to stop by every time I am in the area from now on. There is a dedicated free parking garage and some limited indoor seating (maybe 3-4 tables). They are dog friendly and there is also a bathroom. The shop was pretty busy each time I visited but the staff was friendly and pretty quick. I definitely recommend coming to Haiku for the hojicha black sesame latte if that kind of drink is your thing.

The seasonal pistachio cream top series is so fresh and good. If you prefer your drinks not too sweet, use 25% sugar. Both the matcha and hojicha latte taste high quality. The store may be understaffed though as the drinks took about 15 mins or more.
