Quite disappointed with my appointment today. I have had a good experience at the Sunnyvale location, but this was bad. The salon and equipment was dirty, which is gross. The underside of my nails and fingertips were left looking poorly. I was charged extra for a cuticle trim for some reason and that was not explained before the service and they look terrible. I have never been charged extra for that at any salon, as it is part of a manicure. I usually get European/Russian manicures because the quality and service is much better. I only went to Kitchen Nail Bar because it was last minute and has great reviews. Not sure why and I am annoyed that I just paid nearly $100.

I’ve come here a couple of times before, but unfortunately I won’t be returning, which is disappointing because you have amazing customer service and are only 4 minutes away. I paid for a fresh Gel-X set two weeks ago, and three nails have already broken off, one chipped, while the rest are lifting. I had to glue on the 3 that popped off. I’ve had Gel-X done many times before, and my sets typically last 5–6 weeks with no lifting or breakage. To have multiple nails come off within two weeks is not normal and falls well below what I would expect from this service. If your nail techs are not all equally experienced with the services you offer, please ensure clients are being assigned to someone who can confidently execute both the design and provide proper retention. Clients pay a fair amount of money for services like these and choose to support local businesses. Retention, attention to detail, and quality of execution go a long way, and unfortunately that was not my experience this time.

I had a great time getting my nails done there and didn't have to wait long for my appointment! Hannah was a nice person who did my manicure very well, with precision and care, on making sure the nails were clean and dry. She also gave a great massage on not only my hands (with wax and a hot towel), but on my tense shoulders as well! Would definitely recommend this place and come back again!

Made an appointment last Wednesday to get my nails done for a wedding. I’ve been going to the one on Sunnyvale but decided to go closer to home. The pedicure was great. But the manicure….it was so rushed and the hearts on my cat eye was half assed. Uneven on the sides and overall poor work. I take great care of my nails, my go to is usually hi nail salon where my nails lasted 6 WEEKS with amazing design. We barely passed 10 days and it’s already lifting. I think Sunnyvale will be my preferred spot smh $200 poorly spent

Kim’s attitude was poor. Just because I hesitated about what length I wanted, she became impatient. She worked very quickly, it looked like she was in a rush.My service was 1 h15min, but she finished it in about 45min.If the result had been good, I would acknowledge that she is skilled and fast. However, before polished the color, she did not properly clean or prep my nails. As a result, almost every nail has small bubbles or white spots. ⸻ In my opinion, she honestly does not know how to do builder gel.After confirming my nail length, she simply clipped the nails once with a nail clipper without shaping them first. Then she applied a thick layer of builder gel very casually. The surface was uneven, after curing the builder gel did she start shaping the nails. Then she used excessive filing to forcibly smooth out the surface and correct the structure.This is completely different from the builder gel process I have experienced many times before. Every previous nail technician I’ve gone to shaped the nails first before applying builder gel. After the structure was built, the shape was already clean and refined — there was no need to reshape the nail again. Even without color, the
