some of the people that work there are really amazing! prices are p absurd but I guess for people who don't want to venture to the close by forbidding ralphs or make the travel to the tiny Lassens on hillhurst w equally derranged prices it's worth it. their hot bar however is ridiculous, not only is it absurdly expensive the food is so white washed from the ethnic flavours you are hoping to get it, it actually hurts. the lines can be ultra long if you can't use the self checkout. the haba section is small compared to what one would expect from a natural health focused grocery that has so much space.

Is this a prison or a store? I frequent this market rarely - once in 4-6 months to buy water. I was there last week and I greeted the security guard, but as I was getting water, another security guard showed up. I am a mixed person of color and this seems to be a trend at this store, which is absolutely absurd and outlandish. If you want people to stop shopping here - people that can buy ANYTHING and everything they want in your store, keep this up. Either they are projecting what they inherently favor in themselves, or this is very poor store management. If you want to follow people, install cameras - everywhere. I went there to get water, and pick up a few other things. I put the other things down and just bought the water. Stop doing this. Either your security team steals, and they think everyone else does, or this is extremely poor management. Is it both? I did not see security guards following any other race of people and I checked. JESUS created EVERYONE equal. No one is better than the other simply because they have different color skin, which we have NO control over. JESUS LOVES color and it should be celebrated not looked down upon. We are all ONE RACE. Allow people to

I love this store usually but today I find out that almost all the cherries with the big amount of mold!! I said that to the manager (Steven), I was respectful and calm, but his answer killed me, he said: β€œnot my problem, I don’t manage the food.” And left… are you serious ??? This is the service in the not cheap organic store??? If not his ignorance and very rood behaviour I would not even post this. But I can’t be silent now.

My brother-in-law brought us there specifically for the doughnuts, cookies and fruits. This was his go to place, his nirvana of grocery store because of its cleanliness. Each department reflect a subtle smell. However, as a whole, the store has a very clean smell which he is very particular with. We ourselves didn't buy much. The prices are a bit high end but rest assured, the products being sold are worth it. We will surely visit when we are in LA again.

Crazy obsessed with the best of the best. Lazy Acres Market in Los Feliz (but actually the tail end of East Hollywood) is phenomenal. From it's great service, staff, security and selections to it's incredible wine, craft brew and spirit selection. Their bakery is by far top notch with iconic items of the vegan variety including a rice crispy style treat. Everything in the store is well labeled and so many of their prices are extra competitive. I stocked my freezer for less than $50, I call that a win. Can't remember the last time I saw some many deals on a lot of my plant-based go to items. Daring Foods, Daiya Pizza, Cheese and Cheesecakes, Gardein, the list goes on! Produce is stellar, slightly pricey, but the quality is top tier w/ majority of things being organic. Ample parking, cozy patio in front for dinning + leisureness. You can do classic or self check-out and they have a lot of utensils as well as essentials you might need if you pick up anything in the hot, cold or pre-made bar sections.
