Bringing myself to write this review has not been easy but I remember what it was like having to make the decisions for my family. If you are reading this because you lost a loved one, I am so sorry for your loss. Making these decisions and being responsible for the final farewell of a loved one is extremely difficult. I lost my Mother in 2024. I had never lost a close family member or friend before that so I had zero idea what I was doing when I was trying to make the arrangements. My Mother was an extraordinary woman who left a mark in the lives of so many many people. Her final goodbye needed to be to the highest standard because she was our family's pillar and queen. What first attracted me to Lisles was its appearance. It was pretty and looked like a place worthy of holding my mother in their care. So I booked appointments and my siblings, dad and I went to meet with John and see it for ourselves. Immediately upon walking there was a warmth and scent that transcended through the place. It didn't smell like death. It smelt like peace. It was clean, and though it was a place that surely has witness so much pain and grief, it was warm and welcoming. I walked into that place with

John and his coworkers were so incredibly compassionate and helpful. They took care of everything and with great communication. Anytime a question needed to be answered, we'd get contacted right away. We were able to mourn without having to worry about all the details and planning. Thank you so much.

John and the entire staff was amazing. They took the time to acknowledge our loss, helped us from day one to make all necessary arrangements. They did a fantastic job. Literally God sent! They genuinely work with heart and are very caring during such a sensitive time for my family.

Today marks one month since my dad passed away, and I would like to take this opportunity to share my experience with Lisle Funeral Home. Although I did not pre-plan the funeral services directly with Lisle (the arrangements were made through Fresno Memorial Gardens), Duanna Smith and her team did an amazing job on the day of my dad’s funeral. The service was a religious ceremony, and they were respectful, accommodating, and attentive to our traditions and needs. I felt very fortunate to have their support during such a difficult time. I did not feel alone while preparing the arrangements for the visitation and viewing. The day was hectic — we held the visitation, viewing, and burial all in one day — but everything was handled smoothly. Having everything completed in one day was important for our family and also helped me, as I was traveling from out of town. The facility itself is beautiful and well maintained. It was especially meaningful that they allowed us to open the side doors due to the incense smoke during the ceremony. They were understanding and flexible with our religious practices. John Urabe and the Lisle’s Funeral Home staff has been here for families in the valley and it was very apparent for the passing of my mother The staff was very supportive and positive for our family. Jaydee Mayrugba and staff completed the burial process which made this difficult process very comforting for the Ota family. The family appreciate the pleasant experience.

I can’t thank Lisle’s Funeral Home enough for the incredible care and compassion they showed my family during this very difficult time. From the very beginning, John guided me with so much grace and made the entire process feel simple and manageable, which meant the world to us. Every staff member was welcoming and kind each time we stepped foot into the funeral home. On the night of my brother’s viewing, the staff went above and beyond to support us, making sure everything went smoothly. They also did an extraordinary job preparing my brother—he looked so peaceful, as if he were simply sleeping. That brought us so much comfort in the middle of our grief. We are forever grateful for the warmth, professionalism, and compassion shown by everyone at Lisle’s Funeral Home. I would highly recommend them to any family in need of funeral services. ⸻

We were so grateful to the staff at Dignity Memorial for making a very difficult time a little bit better. All of my communications with Jaydee and Duanna felt personal and like I could reach out to them at anytime whether it related to business or emotional support. I would definitely choose this facility again in the future (although hopefully not for a long time) the picture shows what was presented to me when I picked up my grandfather’s urn.
