First time coming here, did not feel welcomed at all. Customer service is lacking. Wanted a quiet place to study but all the tables were taken up. Decided to sit in the kids area in the meantime, mindful of the fact that there were NO kids in the facility at the time. I was waiting for someone in the general area to leave. I was escorted away by one of the clerks while I was in the middle of work. Given rude stares even though it had been 15 minutes and they hadn't noticed?? I emphasized to her that I wanted a solo space to work at and felt uncomfortable being right next to someone. When I asked her to guide me the seating she suggested, I was put off as if I shouldn't ask for assistance. Only to be guided to a seat that was right next to someone at the computer station 🙃 The only other option were two seats with no desk. Not only was I unable to get any work done here, but I lost valuable time. I do appreciate the gentleman at the entrance who told me open drinks weren't allowed. Only reason why I decided to come back after but don't think I'll be returning.

Quite, "soooo" clean and the all the employees are awesome 😎 Needs a 🇯🇵 flag with the other two on the pole outside though.

​Title: Great library, but inconsistent security ​ The Little Tokyo Branch is a fantastic resource for the community. The building itself is beautiful, and the staff—particularly the librarians—are incredibly helpful and welcoming. When I spoke with a librarian regarding the rules of the space, she was clear that it is a public space and everyone is allowed to be here. ​However, there is a major issue with the contracted security guards overstepping the library’s actual policies. Despite the posted sign stating "No loitering between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM," guards have been telling patrons they cannot sit against the building on the sidewalk during the day, even while others are permitted to sit near the road. ​This selective enforcement is frustrating and contradicts what the librarians communicate about the space being open to the public. If a patron is not blocking an entrance or causing a safety hazard, they should be allowed to use the library perimeter for lawful purposes (like accessing Wi-Fi or resting) without being harassed by security for "unwritten" rules. ​I hope management can coordinate better with their security team to ensure they are following the actual LAP

Its a small but easy to.aceess located in main down town. Five PCs usually no rush some time awsitng in a queue for ur turn. One small hall, as I experienced one writer berry lancet book ceremony was held
