Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Los Angeles follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I met very nice employees and was heard. It wasn’t so much of a wait time

I honestly don’t understand what’s going on with government healthcare services in Los Angeles. I was enrolled in Medicare, and I’ve been trying to cancel it, but it has been a nightmare. I’ve spent over three hours on the phone—without exaggeration—and no one answers. How is it possible to have such an inefficient system when the people relying on these programs are often the most vulnerable? At this point, it honestly feels like it’s done on purpose. This lack of support is unacceptable. I just want to resolve this and finally cancel this nightmare.

This is a modern and well-organized Social Services office. At the entrance, there are security measures, including a metal detector and security guards. After entering, you take a ticket and wait for your turn. There is plenty of seating, the air conditioning works well, and there is a restroom available for visitors. I came here to get my Social Security number, and everything was handled quickly and professionally. Overall, it was a smooth and positive experience.

I seriously cannot believe these people. I had submitted an application for medi-cal online. I received a letter in the mail for further proof of income due in 3 days, it was frustrating after submitting a bunch of documents online to get a short time notice for more proof. OK! I mailed it in and got letter that it was denied because they never received it. I called, not understanding why and feeling a little lost on what the letter was asking for "income from other members of household not provided" and the "hearing request" hoping to get answers. I finally got an answer after 2 hours and once I explained my situation this guy named William made me feel inferior. Said that they never received anything and that i can "literally go online and submit them there". I was appalled. I told him that I did not see that and if that was the case I could've done it before instead of taking time to print and mail documents. Eugh he was so rude and ended up hanging the call after I called out his behavior. Its so unfair that these workers are unhelpful and rude when in reality they work because of us(our taxes!). Shame.

I was really shocked to see such a low rating for this office. I’ve been here several times with my three children, and every time the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Even though my assigned office is in Culver City — where, unfortunately, I was treated very rudely and without respect — the people in this office were completely different. Each time I came, different employees helped me, and all of them were friendly, patient, and understanding. They helped me collect my documents, explained everything clearly, and even played with my children while I was filling out the forms. I honestly can’t understand why this office has a low rating, while the other one — where people are disrespectful — has such a high one. The staff here truly work with heart and care deeply about people. I’m so grateful for them! 💖
