Luma Yoga is a hidden gem! Nestled between Little Italy and Bankers Hill, it's truly in the perfect location - You can go explore Balboa Park or grab a bite to eat in Little Italy after class 😍 The space itself feels like one of the most intentional yoga spaces I've ever been to, it's so clean and aesthetically pleasing. Since this studio is brand new theres a unique energy that is hard to find at other studios - you feel a sense of community from your very first class, and that's what keeps me coming back. I also love that there's no mirrors in the practice space as it invites you deeper into your experience, instead of quietly judging yourself or comparing to others. Check out Luma Yoga, I'm sure you will love it!

I recently took a yin class here and I cannot recommend it enough. From the moment I walked in, the studio felt incredibly inviting there was such a beautiful energy, and an obvious attention to detail in every corner of the space. What struck me most was the sense of spaciousness, both physically and in the overall atmosphere. Nati's class was soooo good. I left feeling genuinely held and cared for. Highly, highly, highly recommend the vibe here is truly something special. I’ll definitely be back.

I took a class at Luma Yoga Studio and it was absolutely amazing. The space is stunning and feels so different from other yoga studios in San Diego. My teacher, Dj, was phenomenal and brought so much attention to detail throughout the entire class. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole experience truly felt like being part of a community. I will definitely be going back!

I had such a beautiful experience at this new yoga studio! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with genuine kindness and warmth. The sense of community here is truly special — inclusive, uplifting, and incredibly supportive. The staff and instructors are exceptional: attentive, knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about creating a space where everyone feels comfortable and encouraged, regardless of experience level. The studio itself is peaceful and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax, reset, and fully enjoy the practice. You can feel the heart behind this place, and it’s already becoming such a positive addition to the community. I’m so grateful to have found it and can’t wait to come back!

Luma Yoga is such a special studio. I’ve been looking for a new yoga studio to call home for years, and it’s funny how things come into our lives right when we need them most. I love the energy, the welcoming environment, the instructors, and Elena, the owner. The studio offers such a thoughtful variety of classes, including Mommy & Me yoga, where you can bring your baby, and soon-to-be-mommy/prenatal classes. The space feels like you’re transported somewhere outside of San Diego, in the best way. So far, I’ve tried High-Low, Slow Flow, and Vinyasa, and every class has been amazing. They offer classes that a lot of larger corporate studios don’t, and you can really feel the care behind everything. I’m so glad this female-owned and operated studio opened, and I can’t wait to try more classes. Plus, it’s only a five-minute walk from my house. Couldn’t recommend Luma Yoga more. 10/10.
