Outstanding food and service catering on a dinner delivery order for 30+ people! Sam provided accurate estimates and superb menu recommendations. The Pear & Walnut Salad, Vegetarian Lasagna and the Pesto Chicken Pasta were fabulous and exactly the right amount of food for the crowd! The Garlic Bread was a perfect accompaniment and the Cannolis were to die-for. Delivery was right on time and the food was fresh out of the oven. This was our second time using Pizza e Birra following a wedding cater in March. I will keep using and recommending them, as well as stopping in for great pizza whenever I need a cold draft beer or have a crowd to feed!

Pizza e Birra delivered one of the most unforgettable dining experiences I've ever had. I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and Sam, the owner, made it a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond, providing exceptional service and genuine hospitality. He even took the time to sit down with us, share stories, and make us feel like family rather than just customers. The food was absolutely exceptional—every dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. But what truly set this place apart was Sam's passion and the personal care he puts into every guest's experience. It was unlike anything I've ever experienced at a restaurant. Great pizza, Ice cold beer, and a relaxed atmosphere. Had the garlic cheese bread and a pepperoni pizza that hit the spot. I’d gladly come back.

Great spot! Delicious pies.. fantastic service..really cool spot near the airport/ old town/ international row / hotels, etc. super fair pricing and portions. We'll be back!

Happened to be staying close by and wanted an easy family dinner the night we arrived, and found Pizza e Birra. Food was so good that my kids insisted we go back again before we left town. Everything we had on our two visits was amazing but some can’t miss options are the lemon arugula salad with prosciutto, the pizza fries (my wife doesn’t even like pepperoni but couldn’t stop eating them), the margarita pizza. and the Nutella pizza for dessert. You can tell they only use high quality fresh ingredients, they have a great beer selection and the atmosphere is laid back and friendly. Of all the food we tried in San Diego (seafood, Mexican, breakfast, etc) this was our favorite by far
