The standout slice for me was the soy chorizo, butternut squash, and potato. It's cool that it's vegan but it also just tastes BOMB. Pepperoni and new yorker were great too. You either love the cracker thin crust or you don't, and I love it. The store is a throwback to 90s/00s with eccentric art and character. Definitely coming back here if I get the chance. Also the owner Z loves what he does and it shows, super friendly guy and easy to talk to.

Don’t pass on this hidden GEM. Great gourmet pizza for the advanced palate. Our favorites are the Sweet Southern, New Yorker, and Eggplant. We’ve tried all their veggie pizzas and honestly can’t pick a favorite. The staff is warm, inviting, and feels like family.

A standout spot for truly unique pizza that somehow manages to feel both creative and comforting at the same time. Every topping feels intentional and perfectly balanced, creating flavors you really do not find just anywhere. Some personal favorites have quickly become the go to choices. The New Yorker is everything you want in a classic style pizza with something extra that makes it memorable. The pepperoni and mascarpone is ridiculously good, rich, a little indulgent, and completely crave worthy without going too far. What I also really appreciate is how affordable it is for the quality. It hits that sweet spot of treat yourself food that still feels easy to come back for often. I do not eat pork, so I especially value the variety of non pork and vegetarian options. The sweet potato and eggplant pizzas might sound unexpected, but they are executed so well and end up being some of the most memorable pies we have tried. We have explored several combinations and loved each one. The option to split a pizza into two flavors is a game changer, and the recommendations from the team are always spot on. How do I love thee, Zia Gourmet Pizza? Let me count the ways… my husband and I first tried Zia when they were offering delivery during the pandemic era, and we got hooked. When delivery wasn’t available, we started driving. After we moved, we started making detours to stop whenever we had an excuse to go down to San Diego. Now, we live across the country and we STILL make sure to stop in whenever travels bring us back here. We aren’t fully vegan, but we absolutely love trying the creative vegan options on the menu. I always come back to the original - potato, spinach, and cranberries. An unexpected combination but so incredibly delicious, especially with their pizza dough. They do something special, I know I can’t recreate this at home - it would never be the same! Absolutely worth a try. It’s a different style of pizza than say Dominos, and honestly I like this better. We always buy more because it also reheats well. We’re big into trying new things and we are pretty picky about where we eat when we travel - and we will come back to Zia’s again and again (and again)!

The team here is honestly one of the highlights of the whole experience 😄✨ They’re energetic, charismatic, and clearly enjoy what they do, which makes the service feel warm and genuinely welcoming. From the moment we walked in, we felt taken care of — the hospitality was truly top-notch! 🙌 And the food? Absolutely incredible. 🍕🔥 The menu is creative and refreshingly unique, offering everything from rich, classic combinations like pepperoni with mascarpone to an impressive selection of vegan pizzas. It’s not just an afterthought — the plant-based options are just as exciting and flavorful! 🌱 My friends and I tried several varieties, and we all agreed that the Monday Night Best was our favorite vegan pizza — it really stood out. 😍 That said, the vegan butternut squash and the Shiny were very close runners-up and just as memorable. Every bite felt thoughtfully crafted and full of bold flavors. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience with amazing vibes, delicious food, and outstanding service.
